New Grower First grow with DIY kit

hydro is a lot of work and tends to have a good amount of failure unless your spot on starting out.Im biased but I would say a good organic recipe it hands down thee easiest way to grow and give the best quality.

my cats( i have 7) always try sunning them selves, dig sprouts up (2 kittens),and other stuff as well as getting fuzz n fur on the buds. most i pull off trimming ,but we all usually get small stuff we have zero clue is there LOL! until we actually see it. :D tough to grow with a lot of animals. unless your running a fully sealed system then I envy you LOL

and moreover ,if your growing for your husband Im guessing it solely for medicinal or similar uses? Organics also give thee best healing potential for said herb too. to those are two excellent reasons to go organic, aside from it smells better ,and tastes better ,and is easier to do from a simple adding 5 to 10 drop per gallon every other watering and voila. easy. dial in the simple temps n RH as best as ya can and it literally that simple with the standard distance from the light and the canopy too. then there it is. less than 3 months solid useable meds ready to be employed as a medicine.and some soils can be used back to back with large root and particle sifting of the used soil

@Eyes on Fire it's only in more recent years that he's been using it for pain relief. I think for him the high/mood lift will always come first because it's a lot easier to deal with everything else when you're buzzing. Understandable, that! It's me that's been looking at the medicinal side, because I can't stand seeing him in pain on his bad days. And his tolerance seems to rise pretty quickly too, which is why I want to try having a few strains at once to alternate. And of course I'm trying the BS regime to see if that helps, before suggesting it to him, and I have some MaCl on order too. I want this (first) Christmas away from everyone else to be a happy one!

Hi folks, overdue on an update but here we go anyway. People may already have seen the dodgy fan leaves over in the Infirmary, they're not noticeable in the below pic:

muti strains a good tact

@912GreenSkell thanks dude, she's certainly showing a lot of promise right now. Are there any varieties you run time after time, or do you have a few favourites for when you can't decide what to grow? How do you choose which strains to grow year on year, or is it an ongoing evolving process?

*Edited to add, I saw the first trichomes on the WW yesterday, at day 63. Sloooooooooowwwww.... No chance of being ready for Christmas!

I generally go year to year on my choices. Vast internet research and looking past names into the base genetics(certain genetic lines I already know I love like Blueberry and White widow) aids me in my search. DP photo blueberry is one that has been with me for 5 years now, and Delicious Seeds Fruity Chronic Juice is going on its third year.. I can see Brooklyn sunrise autos becoming a garden regular as well, though I have only grown 1 plant. For me I find trust in a handful of breeders that I know put out amazing strains, and I trust them to give me what is described. Dutch Passion, Dinafem, Sweet Seeds, Mephisto, Bomb and the Autoflower Portal all sit in that category. Despite the fact that I have only grown DP and the Portal from that list so far(and one plant from Sweet) I absolutely trust those breeders, as I have done a ton of research and it points me to a place where I already know I can trust them before I put a seed in the dirt.
