hydro is a lot of work and tends to have a good amount of failure unless your spot on starting out.Im biased but I would say a good organic recipe it hands down thee easiest way to grow and give the best quality.
my cats( i have 7) always try sunning them selves, dig sprouts up (2 kittens),and other stuff as well as getting fuzz n fur on the buds. most i pull off trimming ,but we all usually get small stuff we have zero clue is there LOL! until we actually see it. tough to grow with a lot of animals. unless your running a fully sealed system then I envy you LOL
and moreover ,if your growing for your husband Im guessing it solely for medicinal or similar uses? Organics also give thee best healing potential for said herb too. to those are two excellent reasons to go organic, aside from it smells better ,and tastes better ,and is easier to do from a simple adding 5 to 10 drop per gallon every other watering and voila. easy. dial in the simple temps n RH as best as ya can and it literally that simple with the standard distance from the light and the canopy too. then there it is. less than 3 months solid useable meds ready to be employed as a medicine.and some soils can be used back to back with large root and particle sifting of the used soil
