New Grower First grow with DIY kit

Well after a month with no reporting on my own stuff, here I am with the conclusion of my Spanish grow. Zambeza Blueberry came down today. A few bits had already been taken off and dried, then smoked, while I was away. Here's the rest:

I can't detect any hint of blueberries, it just smells like really nice weed to me (but I do have a cold). It's very sticky and there are even trichomes down the stalks of some of the leaves. No idea of weight as I don't really care. Some of it has just been flash dried in the microwave and I wanted a smoke report (it was a bit rough towards the end apparently). It was done by following a microwave steam method posted in 420 magazine.

Still undecided which way to grow once we've moved. I can't get all the parts that I want for my COB lights, which is proving to be a bugger, so I may have to go blurple. And the hydro thing is still up in the air. Who's got a really quiet extraction fan, then? I can hang from bungee cords with no problems which will help...

Here we go again LOL. Opinions? Money is at a premium after this overseas experiment! Lights, sound, music... oh no that's something else. Lights, hydro, extraction. Hubby owes me a birthday present.
buds looking frosty and inviting! cheers! I'm having trouble getting my cob also, must be big demand

You could always grow 16/8 which solves the noisy fan and pump issue. You still can't do dwc as you're supposed to run the pumps 24/7, but a wilma would be doable.

The blurple will have fans, Chinese fans most likely. They ain't the quietest.

The smell and taste come with the cure (not a droning 80s indie band). If you dried it in the microwave the most likely taste will be hay.

Good job Elle, considering you're growing under a night light in a pie tin you should be proud.

Itisi
it is isn't it?

Cheers man, I loved The Cure, seen them in concert more than a few times - I was a bit of a goth as a teenager!

Thanks for your kind words, what a great description of what I've achieved! I think we can do a bit better though - it's a night light in a pie tin, inside a plastic bag!

Hello! How are you? [emoji3]

She (blueberry) turned out some pretty flowers!
Hey bro, I'm well thanks, what about you? Hopefully I'll get over to your thread tomorrow for a catch-up.

She did, didn't she? I'm very glad I still have another two seeds, I want to see what she can do under proper lights!

Good thanks mate [emoji3]

God just skip to the end of mine if you get time. Too much of me banging on to bother reading it all [emoji3]

LOL well that's OK, you can mock. I don't mind. I grew some weed with practically no equipment so I'm happy enough. The White Widow was the best one of the lot!

OK here's the scruffy b*tch, atypical cal deficiency halted, but damage done, mystery Sweet Seeds girl, day 73:

And here's Zambeza Blueberry day 44, she really didn't like getting a soapy water spray when I had the whitefly problem, so she probably won't reach maturity before we depart this place:

We have MAX 66 days before we're gone, but it'll likely be less than that. No I'm not starting anything else here, it'll have to wait until we reach the next location.
They are no less beautiful to me. Any teaching moments welcomed are not are lessons for the better down the road. These two beauties undoubtedly made you a stronger grower and that is priceless in the end.

I love this first auto grow of yours, not just from what I have learned, but watching the AFN community rush in to help. It further reinforces to me that I made the right choice in calling AFN my Canna home.

Thanks Growilla! Yes, everyone is really quick to help and I've found that to be my experience right from the get-go. I can't imagine a nicer bunch of people.
