New Grower First grow with $250 budget - Fugue State

Hey all,

I've been a lurker here for a little while, but finally time to try my luck! My wife authorized my budget for this little grow experiment. My goal is to grow enough for my own occasional personal use.

I'm starting out with a single Mephisto Fugue State seedling in a small tent. I germinated the seed in paper towel and planted the seedling in a 2 gallon pot with 1/3 amended super soil mix, the rest is Happy Frog.

I went with the amended super soil method for simplicity. I'm not going for any awards here...

I'm using a generic 300 watt LED purchased on Amazon set for 20/4 light/dark. It has dimmable controls so I read somewhere to start with 100% veg spectrum and 60% bloom (not sure if this matters for autos)

Anyway, so far so good. I'm on day 4 and she looks ok I think. Take a look, and let me know if I am doing wrong please! Thanks!View attachment 1019152

This is a great place and someone will chime in and help you, I just tried a little lst on a couple of girls and I think it worked out OK.

Can I ask what distance ure light is from top of plant and if this is ure first grow just let her do her thing and get practicing reading ure plant for example

Dark green =to much nitrogen
Pale green =not enough nitrogen
Dropping leafs can mean a number of things but can mean too much watering or too little and if little brown spots appear on ure leafs it's a sign of calmag deficiency as leds suck it out the plants so you will have to add that .

The light is about 24" away. Running veg and bloom spectrums at both 100%.
