Hello all, I am currently working on my first attempt at growing. I have 3 heavyweight seeds wipe out express. I choose the strain for help with arthritis and insomnia.

I'm a little late for a full journal but the seeds were germinated on Jan 13th and 15th. I used the method of soaking in a cup of water for around 16 hours followed by wrapping in a paper towel. All 3 germinated.

I have 2 growing In 2.6 gallon pots that were supposed to be 3 gallons but by the time I realized it it was too late to purchase bigger. I do have 1 in a 5 gallon I had sitting around.

I'm growing in organic soil in all 3 with a super soil amendment in the 2 smaller pots, I plan on purchasing more super soil for a top soil on the third.

My main soil I'm using is fox farms ocean forest and my super soil amendment is from nature's living soul for autos.

For my lighting I'm using a viparspectra v300 drawing 300 watts and 130 true watts.

Right now I'm just growing in my closet until I invest in a tent.

I've been watering with plain tap water I fill in a bucket and sit for 2 days to dechlorinate, I recently discovered my ph was at 7.7 and now will be using a ph meter and ph down to achieve a 6.5 water ph from now on.

So far the plants seem to be doing great and notice growth with each passing day.

With the exception of 1 plant I'll be using a supersoil for a top soil once I see flowering or sooner if I notice a deficiency, I plan on going through the entire grow with only watering.
Thank you for viewing,

So I wanted to do a quick update. This morning I checked my plants before heading to work and noticed one was laying over on its side from the stem being unable to support the weight, I checked the other 2 and one other was similar with the plant barely being able to support itself. The third was fine and strong. I immediately looked online for causes, the most obvious and common was the plant stretching from inadequate light or the light being to far, I'm using a viparspectra 300 watt and have been keeping the light 18 to 20 inches from the top of the plant. I assume that's not too far or too weak for 3 plants but I lowered it a few inches to be safe. The stem does not look too stretched, the bottom leaves were about 1.5 inches above the soil line.

I still need to buy a tempurture and humidity gauge but my house is generally between 70 72 Fahrenheit (21, 22) celcius. My humidity is unknown but it's probably in the lower 30's.

I read about damping off which has me really nervous but I'm pretty confident that's not it, I've been meticulous about not over watering though it still has me paranoid.

I also should mention I've running a small fan on the plants with just enough air to lightly blow the leaves around.

I since added more soil and lightly pressed it down near the stem, it's now about .5 inch from the bottom leaves and seems to be supporting the plant now. Hopefully that will be all that is needed to fix the problem. The plants all still seem to look healthy and still showing growth with each day with no signs of anything wrong beyond the falling over.

I'll update in a few days.

21 days since germination one 1 and 19 on the other 2.
This morning I decided to try my luck with lst since they seem to be doing well, I watered with ph 6.6 on Feb 1st. Also after further reading, I have decided to add unsulphered black strap molasses to my water and will use that on the next watering and every few waterings at 1 tablespoon per gallon. I purchased another 1 pound bag of nature's living soil for autos and will be using some for a top soil on the one plant that I have no super soil in. So far it's showing no deficiency but I want to be prepared for when it does.

Any comments or advice on the lst will be appreciated. One question, is it ok that the leaves are touching the soil? Thanks for viewing and for any thoughts.
