New Grower First Grow : Short Stuff Onyx, CFL, Rubbermaid

Good call. Doesn't look like much more has happened in the last few days - I think she's given all she has. The other Onyx is budding nicely, though.

Well, it is all cloudy.

Here it is Day 59 and Day 64 (today). I just went ahead and put it into the dark.

Well, the tiny bud has dried. It dried super fast in my tent. The RH was around 35-40%. It weighed <lol> 2.3 g wet, and .7 grams dried. I moved it into a jar.....By the way, that tent is gigantic!

Anyways, I have a question about the plant that is still left. It is on Day 67. The leaves have started to yellow. I flushed it already, and it was last watered on the 15th. The soil is now dried out again.
So......Should I water it again or leave it alone until harvest?

I haven't given it any nutes or molasses since flushing.

If you don't plan on chopping in the next day or two, I'd give it one last watering.

Hi flwr! What Andy said, plus, what are your trichomes telling you? How have they developed in those four days? Do YOU want them to amber up more, or are you ready to cut her down? I'd give her a little water if I was going to let her fatten up another few days.

I don't know that they will amber up? I thought Muddy grew this strain, and said they never turned amber. The small one I cut had all cloudy. I don't think the buds look quite ready on the other larger plant. I will water it again. Day 70 (10 weeks) is on Tuesday the 22nd. I read that a lot of them go 11-12 weeks?

I just went to sniff the jar that the small bud is in. It smells like green grass not a good smell. I touched it to see if it had moistened up again. It is really dry, like if squeezed would crumble. I may have dried it too long. I wasn't expecting it to be done so fast.

If I may Flwr... And It was Andy that originally brought this to my attention on my first Auto grow of SnowRyder... Don't dry your buds in your tent (or where you are growing your bud). The lighting will cause the buds to dry out too fast and you will lose trichs/potentcy. Ideally you want a dark place with proper temps/humidity. Not your grow area/room/tent. Just looking out for you cuz my Snow Ryder did the exact same thing! It dried up, got crumbly, and had a green smell to it... Not very pleasant like you said...

No worries....there is nothing growing yet in the tent. Just set it up to have a place to dry what was growing in the rubbermaid. Hopefully, the tent is running soon. I did smoke a j of the Onyx. It had trouble burning but was good. Can't wait to taste it after curing for awhile.
