New Grower First Grow - Purple Kush and White Widow

Spot on for the first three weeks just have ph tap water. And I started at about 2.5 ml per gal and worked up to 5ml per gal I use big bloom all the way through the cycle and calmag and grow big for veg. Once pre flowers showed I gave about one - two weeks more of the veg before switching to tiger bloom. Mine seemed to like nute feed ,nute feed , water with calmag

Seeds have been moved from water cup into a towel and bag. One of the four wasn’t sinking just yet, but it wasn’t 100% buoyant either. That same seed also had a thin piece of shell skin hanging off slightly. It may not germinate, but we’ll see.

I picked up my perlite and ph up and down. Tomorrow I’ll mix the soil and get everything ready for the planting.

Not much happening today. I check on the seeds this morning and the tap root looks like it’s about to pop on 3 of the 4. I’ll be checking them again before bed tonight, but I’m guessing it will be tomorrow evening before they see the soil. Regardless, I am prepping 3 gal containers with soil/perlite now so I’m ready.

I checked this morning and can confirm 4 of 4 popped seeds. They have about 1/4“ roots on them so far, so we may be moving to the new forever homes this evening.

Day 0

Seeds have been moved to soil, with Ph water of 6.12. All popped and one of the purple kush seeds had the tap root rolled over itself. I laid it into the soil facing down, so only time will tell. They all got spritzed with a good amount of water and the light will be on for 28 hours until it rolls into a 20/4 schedule.

The HLG 260 is 35” from the top of the buckets, and the final perlite mixture is 20% perlite 80% FFOF.

Day 1

Morning: My ducting came off the exhaust side of the fan, so I woke up to my tent at 92 degrees. I’m not sure how long it was like that, but it was at max 4 hours. I watered them and secured the ducting. Here’s to hoping the seeds are still viable and will be sprouting out of the soil soon.

Day 2
Quick day 2 update, not a lot going on. Three of four have broke the surface and are showing their first leaves. The 4th broke the surface; however, the shell is still stuck to the top of it. I didn’t need to water the soil today, but I did spritz all of them, with a little extra on the stuck one, hoping the moisture will help it shed the shell.

Where do you have your filter venting? Just into the closet?

The hose is coming back around and venting out of the closet, not into the back of it. I pulled the light down to see about venting to the attic, but I’d need to pull the fixture out from the attic to have a clear shot. It’s in an unused bedroom, so I can just leave the closet door open so the exhaust duct blows into the room. High temp in the tent was 82 today.
