Indoor First grow 23w cfl's, Ak47 and White widow

Hey bro, dont get discouraged,it is a lot harder to have success when the pressure is on and the expectations are to high,i think most of us started small ,with the intention of not buying anymore from anyone else,my first plants were not big producers and they looked like burnt up pieces of crap but they smoked good and i learned a lot from it...now,ive had 2 auto ultimates give me close to a pound and ive had 5 paradise auto wappas give me close to a pound on the same grow( 7 plants total) i also have 2 blue dream plants that may only give me a few ounces( ill weigh and document tonight to close out that thread, sig link us "full circle adventures") but it all starts with patience,we are here to help you,and like most of us,you may have to buy for a little while longer till your harvests start coming in..get thru this grow, buy some different nutes, feed low, and the plants will start to take care of themselves..i hardly ever get yellow leaves even close to harvest, until i cut feedings or flush..

I read that auto's at their optimum can produce 3-4 ounces..i was only hoping for 1.5 each..so 3 total for the 3 months of grow. I smoke an ounce a month so it would hold me over between grows. At this rate I need to grow 4-6 plants likethis to last me 3 months and that means way more lights and care and its what I meant, it doesn't cost much more to buy it. Yes if I smoke 3 ounces a month its worth to grow..but at an ounce a month..electricity costs and living around the plants to save 50$ is a lot of hassle. That's assuming they even last to harvest, they seem quite sensitive and the smallest mistake, especially with an auto as u cant correct it, and the harvest is diminished by a lot! This seems to be a worthwhile hobby if one is doing at least 6 plants, that wat you can get a couple ounces each grow. If I do ever try to grow again..i wont be going for less is more, its what I did this time and it didn't work. Im going the other way next time and overdoing it rather than under, but its unlikely im trying this again. 2 little plants like these auto's are more trouble than their worth:)

Ya my interest has kind of gone away from it. I expected the plants to be bigger, I don't even think i'll get an ounce combined from the two. I did learn about growing, but it doesn't seem worth it. its a whole lot of work and inconvenience to get such little bud. In the end it costs me less than twice as much to buy it and I don't have to worry about what lights are on when..and when I left a window open and its too cool or too humid. In the end to save like 50$ over a span of a month..im thinking its easier to let someone else do all the work and I buy it. It was an intresting experience, but unless one does this on a much larger scale, for me it doesn't pay to go through 3+ months of this for 100$ worth of weed.
im gonna finish this grow, I have 2 seeds left, one is bagseed from a co worker the other is an 'easybud' from royal queen seeds. Easybuds produce very little, even according to the breeder, and the bagseed I don't know if its female. So this likely is my only attempt at a grow. I do wish everyone the best though and I thank you all for your input and help along the way!!!
Don't be discouraged man! With just some cfl's you're not doing bad, they'll fatten up some more too I'm sure. Might need to add more or some warm colored bulbs if you can or higher powered ones? But it's hot as hell out too, that seems to be playing a big role too. Sometimes just the placement of fans/air intake can make a difference too. But like I said, don't get discouraged. You can only do better from here!

I understand your despondency Comet, but look at it this way; you learned a lot with just a couple of plants. as for electricity costs; really they're not prohibitive. I was burning a 400 watt MH 24 hours a day and have just stepped up to a 600 watt. I am very cost conscious but even my substantially higher electricity usage would not deter me. chew on it a while; I bet you give it another go. read the forums and learn a bit more before you try again, see if theres a different method that might suit you better.
any way, sounds like you need a break from it so i'll sign off.
see ya around.

Heres the best advice i can give in a situation like this..dont kill the plant, use it as a learning experience, continue to work with it and get it to harvest, the yellow leaves wont recover but all the leaves are sacrificial lambs ( so to speak) to ensure the flower makes it to the end,as you continue growing and learning ,reading what stage the plant is in and what it needs will become easier..and yes you are correct, breeders completion times are usually never correct
@comet79 Exactly lol! I agree. In the grand scheme of things, you aren't smerkin the leaves. They're telling you what's going on, but I've seen some nasty looking leaves and the bud turned out just fine. Sure it wasn't what it could of been, but it did the job and it was there when I couldn't find any. Not to mention I got to keep my money for a few weeks instead of giving it to someone else. Always a bonus lol! [emoji106]

Day 42. Misted plants to help cool them a bit. Swapped out 2 more 6500's. So 6 2700's now and 2 6500's. Will add 2 or 4 more 2700's later this week when I pick up blooming fert. It looked like an even canopy at one point lol..it looks like a terrible haircut now lol. I don't know how people get them to grow so nice and even!
