Pete- ...wrote you a PM too with other specifics,... that said, Sweet is as solid as they come, IMO! As mentioned, I've grown several of their strains, and all are so good they're on the "must grow again" list!
.... Your timing is perfect, as I just finished up a small but gorgeous Bloody Skunk,.... (I think our good brother
@KUDO has grown some, with his usual superb results!
).... As for purple varieties and potency, I've heard the same thing
@A4 mentioned,... I think that's been debunked for a while now..take the case of popular strains like Grand Daddy Purple, it's parent Purple Urkle, Purple Cadillac, Purple Nepal, and a AFN favorite (not available anymore sadly) Maines Own BlueBerry... I see the first 4 testing out consistently in the upper teens to low 20% THC, for years now.... I've grown both color pheno's of MoB ("green" and purple), and I found no difference in their respective potency's,.... As for auto purples, I've grown Red Poison, Devil Cream and BSk, and all are plenty potent for this spoiled CA gellie!
I can't say these are the
most potent Sweets I've grown, but that can't be taken as any sort of real empirical/anecdotal assessment because I've not grown several of each, nor compared their Parent strains, so as to have a basis for comparison,... I can say any of them will
stone you to the bone and have you phoning home , and I don't mean after smoking half joint of them by yourself either!
... unless you're a heavy tolerance smoker, a couple-few hits will more than do! The Sweet purple (Red Family as they call them) varieties have very unique aromatics, and the colored pheno's are running at about 85% likely you'll get that pheno'-- very stable for seeds! And the non-purp's turn out just as excellent as well,...
.... here's some proof-in-porn
... (and mind that A4 guy! He's one of our finest growers here, with a pyramid-like knowledge base! --you scored reeling him in!
)
