Seems like you drowned it to me. Next time just put in water until it sinks , 12 to 24hrs. If it hasn't sunk, poke it to see if it drops to the bottom. Then you can drop in soil and sit and wait until it pops up, anywhere between 2 and 5 days or put in paper towel and keep moist. Good thing with towel is you can check on progress, down side is you can damage root when planting, although, imo, this is hard to do.

I think I've been very lucky to have 100% germination over a small sample (6 seeds), but I do the cup of water for 20 hours then put the seed right into my medium with sprinkles of water 5-10ml. The quickest seed pooped her head 2 day later, they longest was in the 6th day as I debated giving up hope.

You gotta tap root, so that's good.. I would just put in soil, little bit of water only, and plastic dome over the top.. See how goes..

we give up on seeds all to easy,go looking for something to blame,start digging/start another.i wish i could find the post,was reading the other day someones seed popped up after 17 days.
most important thing to me is born on a monday,i have a chart if its not born on a monday that screws me right up ocd or something.
wed night seed in a tub of water somewhere warm(float sink dont matter).thurs onto wet paper towel in a ziplock bag.sat it gets planted.9 outa 10 times it pops up monday.

Patience is hard!

Been in the soil, paper towels or water for over a week now. At what point realistically should I cut bait here?

I'm itching to get going and that Northern Lights seed is calling me..................

Personally I would call it quits, but others would wait. If you have the space , start another and put the pot to one side and see if she pops.

I had one not pop so dropped another seed in the same pot. Great yield, bushy twin plant lol. They both came up.

I'm afraid the Triangle Kush never came through

The good news is that my RQS Northern Lights is into her second week and (seems) to be doing great. I'll try and get something up tomorrow.
