Hello to those who took a few a few minutes to stop by and check out my first journal here. I decided to finally throw my hat into the ring and run some Auto's. I have been running photos for years now and feel like breeders and genetics have come miles ahead with both quality and the quantity of the final results. Plus I finally got up the nerve to purchase some auto beans from an U.S. based seed bank. Thanks to some great friends I made when I hung out at R.I.U. several year's ago. I still have beans left from those guys plus what I would cross when I felt like chucking a little pollen.

Anyways, I have three GSC, and two Blackberry Kush running at day 45. So far I like how they are progressing but we will see in about 25 more days or so.

Thanks again and enjoy the pics.

These are a Fastbud Zkittles and a DP White Widow. It's cold here so I'm using the blurple led to keep em warm till they germinate.

My setup is pretty basic starting with a Crunch 4x4 tent with an adjustable 600 watt digital ballast and a 600 watt Hortilux super HPS bulb. I chose an enclosed good with an 6" carbon filter and adjustable speed blower. This system is great in the summer dealing with the heat. The starter/veg cabinet I built myself and use an ebay blurple led as a light source to get em rolling and then into the tent. I'm using 15L pots with Black Gold soil. I amend with perlite, vermiculite, diatomaceous earth, bone/blood meal, garden lime, and garden tone. I've been using this same basic recipe/mix for some time now and this will generally get me through veg when running photos. These ladies seem to have been ok with with it so far but I'm still trying to figure out when I need to start feeding with nutrients.

I like to push em to the edge with their food so they are able to reach top results. My nutrients are as basic as my tent. I use Jack's tomato feed with iron and calcium and their Bloom booster. I also use Dynagro Protek silica several times throughout their life cycle. If needed I have Dynagro cal/mag too.

I started the plants at the 400 watt setting running 24/7 for the first week and then adjusted to 20/4 and bumped the ballast to 600 at the start of flower and then moving up to the super setting a week later. That's were we are to date.

Any thoughts, comments or questions are welcome as long as it's positive or informative.

Welcome to the blogosphere! I'm pulling up a chair. Beautiful plants! :worship:

Day 46!

The ladies are chugging along towards the finish. They were fed 1/2 tsp each of the dynamic duo (Jack's Classic) with apple cider vinegar to drop the ph of my water to 6-6.5.

It seems that I have a couple different traits showing up with these ladies. The GSC are the 2 in back which seem to be tall ladies and the front left corner is the little girl. Planted same time. The BK in the front show tall and short traits.

The babies popped up last night. They will stay on the veg cab till the big girls get the ax.
