Exposed roots during flowering

Hello folks. My white rhino canuck seeds is flowering nicely but I'm noticing some roots showing up near the stock where it meets the soil. Should top it up when its this close to the rim?

As far as I understand it the little white bumps at the base of stem are new roots trying to come through. Not sure about covering them, I would. I am a noob though.

I wouldnt worry bout that in this case

I get this after rain or watering occasionally. I just cover them back up.
