Establishing Credibility Guidelines for Breeders

I'd like to give the dragon seeds a go. Pretty cool names. Looks like some big autos at least based off the descriptions. The dragonaut cookies is 100cm-180cm. Gonna be fun watching the test grows on these. I'm gonna need a bigger "boat" lol
Oh snap.. A SLEEP reference. May have to look into them...

@Son of Hobbes
Honestly, dude, I’m just gonna stick to Fastbuds, Bomb Seeds, Mandalorian, Short Stuff, and Mephisto until the “gold rush” is over.
Unless they’re recommended on here, I’m not going to bother.

I mean, it’d be great to find a mix of Leafly and BBB, Although avoiding white label practioners would be a bitch.

Not that I will be chasing new breeders...

However, it seems to me that, if AFN wants to provide breeder reliability information here, I think acceptance of a breeder on AFN could be undertaken in stages.

First, a combination of initial evaluation tools, which could include an exam as suggested by @MissUniverse, or at minimum provision by the breeder of sufficient information about their background and operation to convince an expert panel here that there is good reason to think that the breeder is serious.

Second, if and only if a breeder gets past initial evaluation, further support here would only follow by testing seeds, and as other point out, in fairness, testing has to be done by growers who have proven that they know what they are doing.

Third, ongoing reputation here would depend on reviews by AFN members, as is now the case for large breeders/seedbanks.

FWIW. In the meantime I will watch with interest, but will stick to Mephisto for the time being.

Good luck to the AFN senior gang, this issue is worthy of effort, and your attempt to get on top of it is appreciated. :goodluck::thanks:
