okay my understanding was you could let it reveg but than it loses its autoflowering trait? Definitely sucks it was my first time with this strain! Had I known it was going to turn out like this I would’ve been on it asap.
Autos dont reveg. That happens with photoperiods, if you flip the lights back to veg hrs effectively removing the dark cycle needed to continue flowering.
When I mentioned doing a partial harvest or leaving some behind I should have been clearer. Maybe that caused some confusion for you with the re-veg. I believe if you keep an autoflower going well past it's time it could potentially cause it to herm and put out some seeds. I'm not really sure all the tricks for intentionally herming a plant. Maybe you could play some newer music with all the "auto-tune" they use on vocals now. That always stresses me out and would cause me to herm.

That would be the ideal way for what you are trying to do. It would produce pollen. However I think it's probably to late if your plants are already starting to flower. Spraying a plant or even a branch of a female plant with CS/STS just before and as it starts to flower inhibits ethylene production on the location sprayed. This forces it to produce male sacs instead of bud. Essentially you are breeding the plant with itself. Even though it produces male sacs there is no actual male genetics involved. This is how breeders make "feminized" seeds and lock in specific traits.
As I mentioned before your best bet now is to harvest most of the plant on it's normal schedule. Leave a couple lower branches flowering for how ever long it takes for them to herm and throw out seeds. It will essentially be a crude way of doing the CS or STS method above. I'm not sure how long it will take for your plant to freak out and start throwing pollen as a last ditch effort to survive. Strong genetics will take longer. But It will take at least 5 weeks after that for the seeds to mature. Hopefully just doing a big harvest on the plant will be enough to stress the remaining plant to "herm" right away. Maybe a few Ice cubes on the bottom of the pot..... Hurts me just saying that lol.
