Grow Mediums Easy to Go system with tray?

Cool! Do a thread on them so we can all see how they work out. I had considered the tray system for my greenhouse.

They have several interesting products.
What do you think pop? If I could tune this a little, I think it would be a good way to grow in smaller pots and still have the benefits of auto feeding. I think if/when I try this again, I will add more slots in the bottom of the pots to maximize feeding. @2Stoned2Care noticed some underfeeding and I think that may be why the buds aren't filling out. Other than the lower leaves, the plants seem healthy enough, plenty of bud sites, just not filling out. Another issue would be root control. May have to get some discs and modify for smaller pots. Any observations?

Have you taken the valve apart and cleaned it? Inside the valve, there is a little yellow dot of silicone. If its got anything on it or damaged, it could allow it to continue to flow water

bro because you use smaller pots i would buy the gold discs and cut a slot in each corner and make a little sock.i have a proper autopot sock but would be easy to convert a disc to a sock and they dont cost much either.just make it look something like this then no problems with roots

I did that last week. I will check it again. The bottom of the tray has small ribs. Do you think this may have something to do with it. Maybe the valve needs a smooth surface to work properly? I purchased the tray from Autopot, so you would think it would be okay. Thanks for your response. It's the pioneers like you that us noobs rely on!

Thanks man. I will definitely get some before I try a tray grow again. I am biting at the bits to do a full autopot 15L grow. I just need to select the strain carefully due to my limited height. Thanks again!

Auto pots specifically state not to use ribbed trays, they need a flat bottom or..........there will always be water in the tray!

I'm going to email auto pots about that too. Seems they should have had a disclaimer against using it with a valve

Yes pop i agree, with the ribs the aqua valve wont work at all it needs to be on a flat surface
