Grow Mediums Easy to Go system with tray?

I am biting at the bits to do a full autopot 15L grow. I just need to select the strain carefully due to my limited height

Whats your height limit bro because its easy to keep big plants short with lst and training

The grow tent that I have is 2x4x5 feet. The first two grows was not very successful. The first was three OG Kush from Nirvana that ended up about five feet tall (had to take them out of the tent). Didn't yield squat! The second was a Flash Number One by Stitch. I had to start her out at a ninety degree angle and she still took up the whole tent. I finally flipped the lights to 12/12 to get a very marginal yield.

Lots of leaves, big, strong stalk, small buds = not enough light. I ran into the same thing

What I've been seeing is that as you improve your grow, better watering, better nutrients, the plants take off well, they don't need as much in veg as in flower. I have a 192x3 and in the small tent it works well, in a bigger space it is not nearly enough. I'll be building a new light in a day or two. After that, we'll see what difference it makes. It noticed this when I went to auto pots and coco/nutrients from organic. I'm betting my new light will up my harvest 25% or more.
I have a Mars 144x5 Reflector LED. According to their specs, it should be enough. Do you think that is why the buds on the current tray grow are not filling out?

what is the actual wattage draw of the unit? they never really give the true draw, best way to see how many watts its using something like this
Amazon product

e.g. my mars pro II 400w only actually draws ~180w - great light though for the money, i pulled about 5oz in a 60cm x 60cm tent, thing about those Mars lights is the spread isnt great so as you move out to the sides from underneath the centre of the light you dont get much coverage

you are better with multiple lower wattage units than 1 big high powered unit

thats one of the reasons i built my own LED fixture so i could spread the light out for better coverage

edit: my link didnt show for some reason?

I'm not sure what the actual wattage is. I do know that Mars posts the actual on a label on the light itself. I will check this weekend. Thanks for your input.

no problem, also light distance relationship is not linear, the further you move your light away the light intensity drops off quickly - so try and keep as close as you can without bleaching the plants or causing heat stress, whilst trying to maintain a good spread
