Grow Mediums Easy to Go system with tray?

I have a problem. I am going to be out of town for the next two weeks and the plants are real close to being ready to harvest. Take a look at the photos and let me know if you think they can go another two weeks. I don't want couch lock, so it may be that I need to go ahead and harvest now. Hopefully, the pics are close enough to tell. The plants are at 74 days. Thanks in advance.

I only took pics of a couple of buds on one of the plants.

imo you really need a some sort of magnification to see the trichomes properly but id say you are getting close to harvest time!

Looks like you are close bro.try and get a jewelers loupe so you can see the trichs.if they are 90% cloudy and you dont want couch lock i would harvest them now but if 50% clear 50% cloudy you could leave them to mature while you are away and they will be perfect when you come back.try finding some auto mazar grow journals on this site and see when people harvest them it will give you a good idea if they are close or not

Thanks for taking a look. I looked yesterday, and found that they are about 30% cloudy. I think the two weeks that I will be away will be about right. I should have a nice chore when I return.

perfect if they are 30% cloudy leave them untill you return and they should be perfect

Sorry for not updating. I harvested the plants last week resulting in 9 ozs. dry. I am curing now. I will provide a smoke report in a couple of weeks. I am still trying to perfect the drying/curing thing. If anyone has a tried and true method, please let me know. Thanks for all of the grow knowledge that this site has provided!

Well this is my method.... but there will be many differing opinions and ways.....
  • I trim away all fan leaves and bigger clumps of sugar leaves whilst the plant is still alive.
  • I then cut the plant at the base of the stem.
  • I have a drying tent set up with a dehumidifier and tube heater with a extraction fan & filter.
  • Depending on size of plant I either hang the plant to dry whole or in two or three branch splits, (always upside down) for 3 days in the drying tent at 50% Rh and a temp about 20 to 22 Deg.
  • I then close trim and separate the plant into single branches, I then dry on net hanging racks for another 3 or 4 days or till the stalks snap (or just about) at 40% Rh - I use the dehumidifier to obtain the right Rh.
  • Turn the buds as often as you can, at least twice a day to allow more airflow and prevent the buds squashing - from laying on one side too long.
  • Then the buds are finally trimmed of any stray sugar leaves (keep for hash) and placed 3/4 full into jars.
  • I burp the jars maybe 6 times the first day and then reduce it over a week to once a day (the lack of that "still raw" smell, tells me when ready).
  • Then I leave the buds to cure for at least another 2 weeks, in a cool dark cupboard, burping occasionally.
  • When finally cured, I store in airtight glass jars with a 62%Rh Boveda pack in each one.
Works for me, nice buds, cured, and just the right moisture content for grinding & smoking..... but as I said.... there are many different ways to skin a rabbit ! Try a few and find what works for you.
:pass:

Whole plant drying upside down day 1..... and 3 days later.....
