Crazy
@Frenjamin Banklin my four UC8 Solo buckets and lids should be here by next Saturday. Can’t wait to change over to them. There is very little room left in my five gallon bucket for water because the Tangie’s root mass is practically filling the whole bucket.

i think you are going to enjoy them. The big Critical gets topped off with water every 3/4 days. But the rigidity, footprint and ease of use of these buckets has been a dream.

I’ve never run them without changing the water. Should be interesting to try.

Might not work for everyone but I hope it works out for you. I think the idea of not changing forces me to keep the feeds lite. I run the plants just a bit on the light green side through veg and it’s worked out really well. I also don’t go crazy with the Cal/ mag like I used to. Other than a bit of PH down in the early weeks when feeds are light I don’t even and much to adjust that anymore. Really just watching my PH and most of the time it climbs just a bit to let me know give the girls a feed.

Best part is in DWC if things don’t stay stable you can easily change out some water. Although I haven’t had to.

. My schedule has been
Veg MC1
Early flower MC1 and Maxibloom
Late flower MC1 and Kool bloom
Small amounts of Cal mag
Small amounts epsom

Update
The Critical plus is on plain water only. She is fading and finishing herself off. Mostly cloudy tops and clear bottoms. Maybe a week or two. I’ll let her go a few days after she stops drinking. I’ve been letting plants go a bit longer with each harvest. LEGO man is our grow mascot. He’s always on patrol somewhere in the room.

And here the Northern Chees haze. They are drinking but not seeing much bulking. This plant has 45w at 12” and still not happy on the top cola. Lowers are 24” away and firm. If anyone looking for a plant that’s happy with lower wattages this is it.

Both my NCH have these dominant mains that just wouldn’t stop.

Really super happy with the bud structure and development on these. If they continue at this rate it might be my best buds yet. These plants had to have a ton of lowers cleared out. Probably the most vigorous grower I’ve had to date. Could have use some silica as the branches are going to be struggling to hold these buds up if they reach their potential.

All plants are DWC without bucket changes. Been really smooth so far. Early spring is easy with low temps so buckets are always cool.

Very impressive FB! I was only a couple weeks in on my first ever grow, it's in kind soil, and pulled the trigger on a CC UnderCurrent 4 site system. I find the whole DWC technique really interesting. Trying to decide whether my first DWC will be auto or photo. You've got a great grow going there.

If you are going RDWC I’d say go with photos from clones. It will be much easier and you’ll be a lot happier. Auto or starting from seed in RDWC will give you fits with different nutrient requirements per individual plant. Just what have seen lurking here.

Other than the Mephisto I don’t get much consistency with seeds. All my FCs look similar but they are all 2 weeks apart even though they were born in the same day. Will update them soon.

Had descent luck with Dutch passion but one of the group always wants to go all sativa and turn into a tree.

If you do go autos I’d say Mephisto or Fastbuds will give you the most consistent plants to cause the least headache. But I’m an eejit so take what say as serious as a fortune cookie.

The QB room is now fully on MC1 and Maxibloom. Added directly to buckets no mixing or stirring. Same old dirty water but topping with 3-4 gallons every third or fourth day.

One thing I hadn’t really talked about this grow with all these plants is Ph. I’ve been running it higher than all my previous grows, all plants have been 5.9/6.5. Previously I ran 5.6-6.0 but have been very happy with the results at this higher value. Not sure it’s big deal either way.

I LOVE how your buds are stacking up and getting frosty......going to beautiful FAT colas!!! Seriously nice looking plants.
I really like your QB room....I am running a new room with HLG_600 QB's and so far they are exceeding my expectations.

Great job so far....best of luck to you.
