New Grower DWC, Led, First time grow (3x Think Different)

A bit too much green for my taste xD The flowers are small when i compare it with other plants at that age, i hope they will still put out a good yeild.

Have you considered tucking some of those fan leaves? That should help get light to the the fruit a bit more.

Look at those plants. They are so chill. They won't let themselves get stressed out over some puny tucking of leaves. :pighug:

Yeah i've considert that but i thought it would stress the plant too much.

Hahaha no no my friend, tucking is about as low stress as it gets. Go ahead and tuck some of those leaves down and let them buds rise to the occasion! Trust me, you'll be happy you did.

I do not tuck leaves, I do spread branches out or down to increase the light getting to the inside of the plant.
I don't usually trim the bottom much without a specific reason.
I do "supercrop" on occasion, if a cola or branch is just out of control.

diggin this, some bushy girls. :dance2: (Ran photos in 5 gal DWC for a bit, I agree with those who said calcium build up on the roots.)

I have molested my plants all imaginable ways, topping, fimming, supercropping, tucking of course, removing undergrowth, accidentally breaking branches and taping them back together... and you know what? The plant just comes back stronger almost every time. Go ahead and beat her up a little. You can clip off fan leaves that overlap each other, as long as you leave a few fan leaves coming out of each bud stalk you aren't likely to slow her down, not in hydro... I also got crazy bushy dense out-of-control growth when I did DWC :D

Yes, they make net pot lids, intended for buckets, it's a whole round flat lid with a net built right into the center. That's a hell of a wide lip, should hold your weight a little better next time.

It's looking amazing, I really love the color of those leaves in the closeup. You did good with the nitrogen balance. You can probably start easing up on the veg nutes over the next couple weeks. Clipping some leaves and cutting back on the N will help control the growth, but really, I don't think you have to worry about stunting your buds.

A little controlled stress, low stress techniques and when you get more experienced moderate use of higher stress techniques, will yield more than not stressing her at all. At least that's true for every photosensitive strain and pheno I've grown. I'm still not clear on how much to abuse Autos. Not enough experience yet.

look's like the fruit's of your labor are really starting to show!

Little update:
Vertical growth has finaly stopped :) Flowers are getting bigger on the tall one yay and i have wrapped it with some rubbercord to increase the amount of light the other plant recieves. I've also bought a new carbon filter and lti, which works a lot better!

Nice looking setup man :D

The carbon filter up top is definitely rad, I need to figure a way to do that at some point so I have more space on the floor...

Plants look a lot better than mine too LOL nice job man!

Its all coming together nicely my friend! The ladies look healthy and happy as well, and you're going to need that carbon filter for sure here in a few weeks.
