Those pretty flowers are starting to take over! Looking great man. Yeah, I finally got my filter up off the floor. It took some serious jury rigging but I love having it up out of the way. Always need more floor space don't we. Sorry to hear about the smaller ones, it happens... maybe you can sidelight them somehow with some bar CFLs or another LED strip down low. The CPU heatsinks are awesome. I love to see creative handywork. Keep up the excellent work!

Hey guys,
i changed my res. yesterday, it was a pretty long time i didnt renew it. My ppm was about 740 and plants are looking good so far.
But today i checked the ppm of my nutrient solution and it was at 24 ?!
How can that be? If i test my tap water the ppm-meter shows 240 which is about right.
Should i give them a second feed?

Yes, when you replace the H20 that has been used, go ahead and add your feed to it to bump your PPM (I find EC to be a more reliable measurement to use)
I don't like to add feed directly to the rez without it being diluted some.
If you haven't really bumped the feed before, just do it at a time when you can check them every hour or so for the first few hours.
If the ppm keeps rising (unduly quick), then you overshot, and can dilute your rez to bring it back into range.
If the ppm stays steady or slowly drops, then you have her eating all she can and you can keep her there until next rez change.

them bud's have got big ;D.what do the tric's look like? what I've read they should be cloudy with maybe 20-25% amber as a sign to flush/cleanse.

You've got some monsters on your hands! Rust spots = Ca deficiency. With Mg you'll see yellowing in between the veins of the leaves (if I'm remembering correctly).

Sounds right and would make sense, since i waited too long to change my res. the salts that built up over time locked the Ca out.
Thats why my flowers are still so small.... Well i learned the hard way but an RO-system along with Cal/Mg+ will solve this in the next grow. And thanks ofcourse Someday i´ll grow ladys like you do

Thanks for the kind words! Although my organics are delicious all the DWC grows make me a bit jealous. The plant sizes are just unreal.

Thanks i´ve allready read this I heard that you dont necessary need to flush in dwc, anyone any opinion about this?

I always give them about 3 days of pure H20 before I chop, just to be sure.

I have a close friend that is very particular about organics, but he will smoke my stuff without batting an eye and always compliments me on the flavor and burn of my buds.
