Check In for today. Branching overnight! really trying to branch out now (all of them). already most have put on 1"+ stalks (instead of the leaflets at the base stalk) just overnight.

408 ppm tonight. They are beginning to really eat. Temp 90 degree radiant. 71 degree res. White thick roots spreading massively into the water and becoming thick and some of the thicker roots becoming light green closer to plant base.

Strange Observations?:
Golden hue (for a week now) on some of plants tops and new growth?

On the Maxi, some young and top growth leaves are kinda curled under a bit? Do I need be concerned (golden hue and still quite deep green)?
Thought 1: I think it may be a slight reaction to a higher temp from the actual light itself instead of just ambient temperature.
Thought 2: Maybe the Superthrive water mix might be a bit strong for it's tastes?
Thought 3: It's roots were a bit behind on hitting the water due to the much large net pot size and may have just been activated recently and got hit with a higher dose of nutes and drew up a bit from a slight shock.

I will included pictures. If you KNOW what it is please let me now if I should be concerned, Thanks!

After reading JM's self diagnosis area, I think the Golden centers are the beginnings of light bleaching and has been going for some time now. I don't think this is causing the under curling, but what do ya'll think?

After a lil research I believe this is due to the high light conditions (bleaching). It is the one showing the most light/golden centers and with the introduction of the broader spectrum it reacted. I will go raise the light up to a lil over 2 foot and adjust the CFLs higher as well.

I still will not rule out water stress from the water/Superthrive Spritz.

This bleaching problem may clear up soon considering my change from the 300W LED to 150hps now at a raised level. It might have only triggered a response due to the change in the spectrum that wasn't present before.

I will update with pics late tomorrow evening and see if any changes.

I just hope this bit of stress won't cause a hermie. It still hasn't showed sex yet either.

Tonights check-in.

20/4 Lights
ph 6.8ish or closer to 7 than 6.5
330 ppm (hungry little buggers)
94 degrees

Problems and Updates:
The curl, I believe, is definitely from Light bleaching. This idiot right here gave his girls too much light.
The damage actually showed today. Notice the light brown spots on leaves.

I think since moving the light up (150 HPS 2' above tops, and CFLs 1.5 ' above), I believe it is getting better and when they get bigger they'll just make their way up to the light I guess (or I might train a bit).

I mixed half Gallon of RO water to 1070ppm (Dutch masters One Grow and Superthrive) to add in res. and ph'd it to about 5.8 or so.

I mixed about half the mix (.5 gallon to res.) got 480ppm and slightly lower ph. Decided to bump that up and add the rest. Bumped ppm up to 520.

The slightly Light Bleached Maxi is beginning to show her little female hairs. Still nothing yet form JH or the front- left blueberry.

Now:

ph about 6.5 or a bit less
ppm 520
90s on temp

And now, some root porn

I'd be willing to give it a try. I'm not sure where I've herad that 6/3 is the sweet spot and it's what I've been trying to maintain. We can go a bit acid on the 6.0 side and see what happens. Thanks for the tip. it is my first Hydro grow. Now shooting for a 5.8

np... I have done a lot of hydro work and research... definetly try 6.0.. that way if it drops a lil ur still safe...

I try to keep mine at 5.8ph. I have climbing ph problems. Usually don't see no ill effects till 6.5 on the high and 5 on the low. 5.8 to 6 is my sweet spot.

Thanks guys. It's crazy how fast the negative signs can worsen  , Look at these two plants that have been affected after about 12 hours of my last pics. I def. got my ph down to 6.0 now. It may be still just trying to grow big and not having enough of the nutrient still even though ph is down. Hopefully I'll start to see positive signs by late this evening or tomorrow.

2 affected plants unsexed blueak and maxi

THey are collectively still sucking the nutes. Down to 480 ppm. Temp 95

The first 2 pics looks like nute burn to me. The second 2 pics look like a slight ph problem.(nothing to worry about). Are the plants all the same age? Did the top 2 plants try to roll under their self (a.k.a. the claw)? Damage that quick and bad was not caused by a slightly high ph. Is there excess root matter in the rez.?
