Hey guys!
At the end of day 18 now, and looks like they’ve officially recovered from their beheading! Growth was slow the first day after but now work into the secondary branching has kicked into gear.
Climate stable at the usual with slightly higher RH due to the rain.
Going away for a few days tomorrow, so will give them a drink of water to see them through. Going to keep increasing the amounts, so will probably give them 800ml. Thinking I’ll drop the majority of the water to the outer edges of the pot to get them roots spreading out. Bigger roots bigger plant right?!
They got some leaf tucking today to expose those new growths, I’m already seeing some tertiary growth starting on the secondary branching, think I’m going to see a lot of heads!!
I did notice more leaf edge curling to what I assume was light stress, lifted the lights about 5-8cm and it’s fixed it. No more signs of light stress.
Think they’ll be ready for some bondage by the time I get back in 3 days, quite excited to leave them and see how they get on while I’m gone. Always fun to rush back in and check on the girls right away! Gets me all giddy!!
They are both still super healthy green lookin, to my eyes anyway, n tox has seemed to of faded, but still keen to prolong feeding. Seeing how they’re going now, I reckon another week + before I’ll need to feed. Should be right around the time they start their growth spurt.
No.1
She’s still much bushier than her sister, stout but a little further ahead in her secondary branching. She’s also a bit limper, leaves aren’t praying like the other, but putting that down to her pheno. Not sure if this is normal, but she actually has secondary branching sprouting from her cotyledons! Topped above the fourth node for 8 main branches but looks like I may get 10!! Can only assume it’s a sign of good health?! Can’t really get a photo as she’s so damn short and bushy, once she’s opened up a bit I’ll put up some pics of her freaky extra limbs. Leaf tucking was quite the challenge, could barely tell what was what due to her dense nature!

Alls well on her front, especially with the fading of the n tox she was displaying. Maybe she hit a pocket of super rich yummy foodiness in the soil mix that I didn’t break up properly. I have no idea basically, but she’s looking even better now. She’s got a lot more spacing which I think has allowed her secondary branching too push out. Her secondary branching is longer than no.1’s but not as advanced with regards to the amount of nodes. All looking very happy whatever the case.
