that's how much cobs costed ya? and yes I'm sure it will be well worth it... I plan to run 600w led/315w LEC/600w Led as my hybrid, once I finish testing this New CMH light then able to run in a real world situation vs how they want us to test it..

No thats for a cheaper end 315 CMH. Although my DIY cobs were about the same.

Hmmm, I've seen a few test grows that say otherwise unfortunately. Big improvements in taste, terps, high etc and a good increase in yield, but not a match for 600w yield wise. It's a big ask.

Prove me wrong though! That would be cool. I got some silly g/w results from 200w of cobs and the right strains. It can be done!

Well my Friend I rather not say it that way... I not want prove you wrong, but I will tag ya into my grows if ya like and you'll be able to watch results for yourself... Like I said I just received this Test light it's already up & running...

ohh okay, my light was free... Because I am testing it... so I really hope you will watch the test grows under it. unfortunately they won't allow me to use supplemental lighting, like light would be used in real world situation, but you'll get to see how well it works without... as I said this only temporary and not using supplemental lighting, as I prefer to run it in a real world setup...

Actually a 315w CMH, has more PAR out-put then a 600w hps.mh does(1.9umol per watt).. SO I think the 315w will straight up out-power the 600w hps, I just received a 315w CMH to test out, I have to say it runs as cool as a 150w hps ...BTW I was using a 400w mh/430w hps on S.L & also using 600w Led(290w true) also 300w Led(148w true) this 315w CMH certainly brighter then a 400w mh/hps...

all sounds good to me looking into one myself ever since our dear mother mossy dangled the hope of testing one in front of me hahaha i joke a level two beat me too it hey maybe it was you not even sure if i can do testing that iv been put on the high team ?
