Dutch Passion DUTCH PASSION (photoperiod) passion fruit and glueberry O.G scrog grow

Nice man, thank you. Yeah, what I've gathered is that the Sunsystems reflector and Philips bulbs are the best choice. Would love to try one out and see if it would approach my 600W HPS yield-wise. I've seen someone in the Meph forum made 1.8 GPW with a 315 CMH in a 3x3 tent (around 550g); that's outstanding .

Most have a horizontal bulb mate. The one with the vertical bulb gives the best spread and that particular reflector has a special coating I believe. The LEC bit in the name I think? Some sort of ceramic coating. After studying a 180 page thread elsewhere, that appears to be the favoured one.

Maxibright digi ballast, philips bulbs and sunsystems LEC vertical bulb reflector. Not cheap, but worth it I think.

I've seen them cheaper.
Thanks for the info hippy kind sir [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

I reckon you'd be ok with autos and a 315 in a 1.2x1.2 mate, as long as you went looooong daylight hours. But I still don't think it will touch your 600 for yield. It's only 315 watts. I think more of a true match for a 400w. BUT...... its the spectrum that makes a lot of difference. Very similar to cob spectrums. Daylight type white light which is very efficient. Seen a lot written about CMH/LEC bringing out extra teprs and have seen lab report proof of increased THC :woohoo1:

I'm using T5 for veg now, so I'm thinking T5 for a couple of weeks, then under the 315 CMH, then full flowering under the CMH and 200w of cobs. Nice.

Sorry to jump in on you guys, but have any of you seen this yet?

Yeah, I would reckon it's a match for 450W HPS, but I agree with you, it seems to bring out higher quality and more GPW than MH/HPS. What do you think about the double ended ones? 630W CMH?

Haven't bumped into this, just double 315W CMH fixtures, for a total of 630W.

EDIT: I'm guessing that @stoney T doesn't mind some healthy discussion, however, sorry for hijackin' the thread .

Yeah man, whatever anyone tells you, a 315 aint gonna replace a 600 hps for yield. That's just nonsense talk lol. Just like 300w of cobs won't really. They'll grow lovely plants, but yield wise 600w is more!

2 x 315 CMH would kill it mate. 630 Watts of white light and awesome coverage.
