nben, if you like the blue hue's to com out in the last 2-3wks of flowering, try and drop the night temp down to around 18-19c and the classic "Blue" hue's will appear !! Not sure how you can hit 18-19c this time of year though, ABB usually goes 85 days to fully ripen nben. if the fans start to go "very dark Green" early on (ABB Trait), back of the N, even if still in veg. They can be sensitive to N through the grow period. Just my experience with ABB......... i wouldn't exceed an Ec of 1.2 (Nute), plus tap Ec if your not on RO nben.
Good luck for the ABB nben........ have you done one before ? dose my experience match if so ?/.....you may need a little more than 135w though, but keep light down as tight as pos, 500-600mm above top of plant, 8000 Lux is required for normal growth, 15-20,000 lux for upper limit performance etc (Lux meter)............. Atb'sm8.......... "B"
Here's a pic of her today. She's progressing quite well and showing pre-flowers now.
I do wonder however about those lady bugs. They seem to be drawn to the plant for some reason. Does anyone know if they could hurt the plant? I know they are actually encouraged in many gardens because they eat pests. I am wondering when the buds start getting sticky though if they will get trapped in them. I have smoked a few critter legs in my day, not something that one really wants to do for sure!
I also keep wondering if they are getting any effects from it... I don't see any nibble marks though so I am sure it is just a warm place for shelter. It would be pretty cool if I'm wrong though hahaha! I can't imagine a stoned lady bug would be a bad thing
Looks pretty! And ya gotta love the ladybugs. Oh crap, I didn't actually see your question about the LB's. Yeah they are great man, you want those buggers. They will keep your plants clean of mites and thrips! Love em!
Thanks for the input bugger I will be switching her to LED after flowering has started. The fluorescent is only for veg. As you can see in the pic I have the light so low it actually burnt one of the upper leaves... Oops!! Got that fixed fast haha!
She's a very good grower for sure! Very impressed with the genetics so far. I hope the temps cooperate during flower but am not too worried, it's not super hot where I live. Blue or not I am sure I will like the end result
