Harvest & Curing Drying in a brown bag

Does heat play a role if said places have RH of 40-50% still? If so what
Just line the bottom of a bag with nugs no bigger than a golf ball, 40%RH and your dry in 5 days and they defo lock the favour and smell in, I was using the hanging method before and I was getting a hay smell before cure on a lot of my strains all good now with paper bags. I've hung the bags had them in a cardboard box and a cupboard and all gave the same great result.
temp zone that would b best?

I actually am I live in a van so I don't have the most room ,I try to keep things as simple and laid back as possible I am a disabled guy after all wasn't trying to grow these huge plants I grew what I was told by the breeders to be indica dominate 5ft max not 10-13 ft over 5ft wide ,now that's a lot of trimming and clipping.

yeah man, that is a shit load of trimming and snipping, jees man I got pissed at just doing my small 50cm ones.
hence getting that trimmer machine, yeah they aint cheap but worth every penny,
Still hard work tho as you have to remove all the big fan leaves first, then the secondary leave, then snip all the buds off and put into trimmer, so, even tho it does the rest, you still have to prepare the green before it goes in.
Oh and then you gotta put the trimmed buds into a brown bag afterwards, no hanging after they go into this machine, it obliterates stalks. lol.
So, either way, its all hard work,. hats off to you bro for
1)growing such monster plants &
2)for having the endurance to snip, cut and dry them. Must take hours bro.
Respect.

Wow. Your the first case i heard of getting mold.
What was your temp and humidity ?
Just one layer per bag ?
I ve dried fist sized buds and never mold.
Read lots of posts, different forums too, never mold.
Hmmmm, bummer.
Sorry to hear it.

Hi old coot. ..It was low temps maybe 18-20. Humidity wasn't tOO hight but hard to measure inside of bags.
1 layer in the bag. But in fact I had no mold inside of the bags I actually had all my largest buds in a brown pizza box and smaller buds in the bags. Now strangely enough it was just the 1 daddy bud from the top cola and no others were affected. However I didn't want to wait and risk any more casualties and so broke down he rest of the beast buds into average sizes. The one affected Was gonna be maybe a 7g bud dry so no big loss and I still approve of the technique.

I have read to cut your buds down to a decent size but also read of putting whole branches in and arm lengh buds.
I have never broke any tops down but maybe my buds arent big enough !!!
I'll have to remember this , dang it. Something else to try and remember.
By the way i meant room humidity not bag humidity and room temp.
My basement is 50 to 70 f and around 50 to 60 humidity.
Low temps and or high external humidity probably caused this.
Guessing here.

My buds were dying at room temp about 18-20 degrees C. humidity 50-55. It could have been anything really. I think maybe leaving the stem on bigger buds would help distribute the moisture but to be fair I don't want to chance it so no more monster buds :)
