Not any worse for sure on the cooling. The fan will be less efficient.............I assume not a passive intake.

Ok I am gonna try it both ways. Passive first then if it isn’t pulling right I will add the active

What do you think it will do with just passive? Will it just make the fan less efficient?
Passive would be with no fan. You want a fan drawing air out of the return side. If your using a duct fan you might want a speed control.

Ahh I didn't get what you were saying. I'm not sure but I believe that the intake should be passive, this works with the slow movement of the airflow, giving it time to shed heat. Maybe experiment with and without a fan on the intake side also, then measure the temperature difference between the air being extracted vs the air temp at the output. See if one give a bigger gradient.
