What model do you have Frank? Just checked out the Grilla grills and those look sweet!
I have the Primate. It can be kind of a problem with charcoal or pellets….anything with a live fire due to our low rh and desert environment, so I got a gas grill. I stopped using my smoker after a small fire burned down an entire block….including four houses and all cars….and they were only 10 miles from the fire department. It was insane. So I decided to not use the smoker anymore unless its been raining alot.

Growing up we had a peach tree in the yard and lots of peach pies but never bourbon. Awesome

I found the recipe on the interweb. It is a very very good pie. I did not have any ground cardamom so I ground some whole seeds. Wow it is so good and almost cardamom front but not. The Bourbon I used Knob Creek, was plenty bold enough to hold its own against all of the spices.

I will make this one again in the future.

Nice work mister…you and your feasts. Thats a serious pile o’ stripies, did you score a whole strip loin and cut em yourself?
Nah what the weekend special was and I kinda wanted to treat myself, plus my daughter is moving out so she will no longer be here to enjoy all the dinners we cook

Wife bought drumsticks and marinated them overnight in Italian dressing. They had me grill them even with me not feeling well and so run down. I kept basting them in the leftover dressing till none remained which left a nice sticky glaze to them.

I never knew that high end charcoal could be so great. I’ve heard GREAT things about Rockwood, Jealous Devil, and Kamado Joe XXL. You can reuse the stuff for fucks sake. I absolutely LOVE the KJ Big Block XXL…it smells phenomenal, and it is hard as nails. Easily the best charcoal I’ve ever used. I will never buy random lump again. I got a 20 pound bag on Amazon River for a 20 spot. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
