Excellent work my friend! That looks bangin’!:d5: How long did you simmer the broth?
Bout 5 hours.
Also added a small scoop of really clean tallow

And used fancy cuts of beef. Chuck for the boil with the bones

And filet for the strips in the bowls

Way easier than going milky white tonkatsu bone broth with pork bone

And the wife prefers the pho over tonkatsu
So win win

So. Whole cloves from a spice jar.

Broiler on high with the rest to toast em up

They grew fuzzy and white in the broiler.

Any idea of why?
Looks like mold. But it happened in 15 mins under very high heat.

Is this some sort of sugar burning out and having like a cotton candy like effect?

I can't make sense of it at all
Haha that’s fucking wild! Not something I’ve seen before….

I haven’t been cooking like I was. My other foot is acting up with lots of pain and swelling. I’m sleeping when I can during times I finally pass out. Will be trying to go see foot Dr tomorrow before or after my other Dr appointment.

My wife has been tossing meals together on a whim.

Ok not new.

:pass:

What worries me when I see screw in fuses is the age of the wiring. After mapping and set-up just feel the walls around the outlets for any warmth after running your lights for a while.
