you want the best ??....."Carboair" !! 100mm !! carbon bed, and it's Aus 412 cintered carbon 1050micron....... .....................it allway's used to be the "Mongolian" cintered carbon was the best...........
duration of use is a tricky one,................. as so many variables, more of interest is "How" do we tell when they begin to fail removing VOc's (Volatile Organic Compounds) ??..... this is the only way you can test if the filter micro pores are half full to near full,.................. raise the cab temp (Empty tent) although just for a half hour "40c" to "45c" exposure to the plants of a high temp surge, will not cause any issues the plant cannot recover from.............. it will partially close stoma's.................... to orevent de hydration............
so raise the cab temp to 40-45c................. put the fan on full pelt.................. (This Is Assuming Filter size Is Correctly Matched To Fan Flow Rate's)......... put fan on full at 40-45c.............. RH will drop to below 30% which is what you need for test RH below 30% 20% if pos........ "Then Sniff" exhaust side for VOc's,
they state 3yrs.................. mountain air.................it's probably the same carbon as most of the trusted filters Rhino Flower Phresh Mountain air Carboair = Australian 412 cintered carbon, it's the bed thickness that really counts.........only carboair do 60mm and "100mm" thick beds........... the rest are 48mm thick maybe 50mm thick carbon bed.............. and even then "Halve" the flow rates suggested................ to get a safe value to work with......
This is my set up; on my rhino thermo 585m3/hr fan (Grow Space m3 = 13.4m3)
Air filter on fan intake side = 1350m3/hr 200mm neck x 1.200mm long Mongolian carbon 48mm bed, so in run carbon filter to 125mm silencer, 125mm silencer connected to the fan 'Intake" side....
On the Output side of the fan, duct goes through ceiling into loft, where a "Y" shaped duct piece, is connected to 2no 350m3/hr carbon filters, making 700m3/hr filter capacity at the Outlet side of the extract fan.......
so 1350m3 + 700m3 = 1050m3/hr................. filter capacity at full or less speeds............ they have been in for 9 very stinky dutch passion strain grows per year = 3 per year....... on 24/7, even in between grows (Down Time) for cleaning and slow starts !!............... fan on 24/7 x 3yrs = 26,280hr (Hours) service over 3yr......
They just failed the "40-45c "Wiff" test @RH28..................... the filters i bought where "Buddy" filters the 1.2m intake and 2no 600mm filters on the Y piece...... on the output side of the fan..............
i just bought the "Flower" 200mm x 1000mm 1750m3/hr carbon filter (Aus412carbon), replacement filter for intake side, and 2no 600mm 350m3/hr flower filters also for the output side to go back on the "Y" duct piece....... in the loft, where my warm air outfall is !!............... handy in winter,..............takes the chill of the rooms upstairs !!.......... air con in the loft keeps chattels in good nick to !! no damp in loft.........
use the ballasts to bring the light to 400w or 600w and so have extra control on the temps.
White.ty.............. never switch a 600w to 400w output white ok, or vice versa either ok,............... probably ballast auto protected, but we change bulbs to suit the ballast output..............400w = 400 on the ballast........600w = 600 on ballast,..................some ballast have a "Boost".......... to 660w or 440w, but this has little effect other than shortening the glass bulb's glass "Envelope's" life. A 600w in a tent at 28c will run at 400-500c..................... duel spec tubes after a 100 day grow = 2500-3000hours should be changed out for a new bulb...............as photon output drops after 3k to 4k hours.............. they are cheap to replace, use to correct life span, never have an issue................... use when old ??.............. and even older 3 grows !!......... you are risking issues...........
as white will tell you when he points his infra red handheld thermometer at the E40 end of the glass bulb tube......... that is hot.................... 400c...................4 x combustion temp !!.....................if it pops, it's still at 200c when it hits the floor..................= !!................ you need a fire alarm when on HPS !!......... it is very rare for an envelope to pop..................... of it's own accord, but items impacting it while in service, is a whole other matter !!
Does the lamp works correct if its 600w but i have the ballast switched to 400w??
No.......................... keep 400w to 400 & 600w to 600 on the ballast white ok.............. change duel spec every grow.........fems or auto's for best performance............... horticultural greenhouse grower guy's, indoor veg and fruit !! only use them for 2000hrs then bin em..........
It will be super efficient for winter too im sure 100% especially if i can play with the ballast settings...I can work the cab without the need of heater = great saving on electricity
2no 400w plus 2no 600w or one 400 and one 600w.............. means you can tune into your seasonal temp needs.............. except when "Light's Out" white....................then the 1kw fan controlled on an "Inkbird" control unit.............. for greater trigger accuracy................ bob's your uncle white'ty mate................. accurate lights out root ball temp maintenance = what we need........ this kit has it's own probe to rest on the soil of the plant !!......... we know we get soil @21c to23c then............

i allways veg fems untill the "Internode Staggering" begins around wk5.....................you can veg past 35 days, by upto 10 days............... but the flower hormone ethylene dose not favor this, as in the wild it is programmed to it don't happen !!.............. 35 days is a good frame built for flowers.................. switch 12/12 then........... or if internodes stagger latter than 35 days............ switch when they do stagger "Significantly"..... little difference in yield nowadays between fems and auto's white................ some auto's more than a sativa fem say........... sativas are usually lower yeild but a lot more potent a bit of kit............ 3-4oz is common nowadays......... auto or fems............. if grown right, "With The Correct" volume of light power, 27,000 to 31,000 lux at the leaf surface at 24-26c.................. for the chloroplasts to work the P680 P700 reaction center madness !! calvin cycle and CAM cycles is ya dark cycles....... lights out reverse respiration equation !! = Kreb's cycle

.I will use Y piece for the excaust of cab fan + ac unit ducting excaust...I will need to raise up another couple bars on the balcony door to fit the intake ducting of the ac unit....It will be ok..
the cab outlet duct, must be exited separate from the aircon duct exit or air intake to the AC unit white, otherwise 2 air pressure inputs to one Y piece will cause a reversion of flow, so the AC unit pumps air into the cab !!.............pushing out stink, and destroying out negative pressure on the cab............. which keeps the stink in the cab and going into the filter intake etc................. separate holes in the door white ok.........one for AC intake and output ?? one for the cab extractor outflow side as we have now fitted.............. do not join up cab outflow to AC outflow ok........... the AC unit will need a cold air input source to work at it's best i think ?? correct,......... start off with the AC unit in the room, not in the cab, probly to big for cab though.....
I have no idea about what to check on them tho....I guess i will have a look @ their filters and put them on the electricity to check their cold air...Nothing else i cant think to check now....
there is no way of knowing if the "Refridgerant gasses" are still in tact white................ yea fire em up in her house and wait 5mins for chiller to kick in..you should get a good chill on the palm of your hand !!

they drink 3 - 4 litres each time i water them...Every other day they take 3 litres each..
i doubt you are getting any run off now from 3ltr feeds................ am i right white'ty ??................ just once a week now, water to run off, as it tells us how much more they can take before run off appears............. so put 3ltrs in, then half ltr hits wait a min another half ltr hit, untill water appears......... so 3ltrs in, no water appears 2 more halves no water appears one more half ltr water appears so you could feed 4ltrs and no water shows........
so we know what increase in drinking they are at........... if you get run off at 4.5 ltrs feed 3.5 you know she is full of water but not "Saturated"................. only saturate once a week............ from now on........... so we can monitor the increaqse in drink they want ok......
So on Friday the run off goes back in the tray for consumption on the weekend xD Its like their party booz xD
So you are collecting all the run off from the twice a week saturation, watering untill we get run off............... you are collecting that run off from the twice weekly floods..............and giving it to the plants on Friday's white yea........

you then look back to the log for the combi's you have already tried and tested............ at that seasonal time period...... record the room "MO" = modus operandi, winter spring summer autumb and high heat events in mid summer..... be ready with an answer to adapt to............
