DAY 22 - Let the scrogging begin !

As expected they're hitting the screen now :)

I haven't left myself much room under the screen but i can cope with a bit of fiddliness !

I guess it's not a true scrog with an auto, more of an LST screen.

Anyway, looking forward to a higher yield hopefully !

Nice screen man. Yeah man form what i have seen its not a true scrog unless your actually tying the plants to certain spots and moving her along the whole screen. Scrogs for autos are just really another way of Lst. Usually when scrogging you would probably top the plants to give more canopy to spread out evenly. I guess you cant really do that to autos without stunting them.

These are looking good man, at day 21 myself but how so far from this.. Will swing by, every now and then to have a look on your ladies progress.

Subbing!!! Want to see this one through!!

Looks like calmag def has started on ABB #1 :

I'm wondering if its ok to put dolomite lime in the water with nutes ?

Ive googled but opinions vary, i will ask on here.

Cheers,

try getting some epsom salts as well bro, they look good though

Let The Scrogging End !

Day 14 for the Northern Lights Big Bud cross. Day 28 for the AutoBlueberries.

Each plant's canopy is pretty even so i'm not gonna scrog i'm gonna LST instead, which i prefer anyway.

I'm just putting thin sticks in the airpot-holes and using them as tying posts.

By the way if you don't use biosilicon you should, apart from being great for the plants it makes them bendier so LST is much less dangerous, no broken stalks.

Hard to see in this pic but that is a 90 degree bend on a mature stalk and it flexes very well.

So the GODAMN CALMAGDEF is starting, god i hate it.

It started a couple of weeks later this time so the dolomite lime had an effect, next time i will put more than a tablespoon per gallon of soil in the mix.

Apart from that they're growing well.

As usual i've forgotten which is which and i can't find my Dutch Passion pot sticks to mark them but here they are anyway.

And finally, the youngster, Northern Lights Big Bud cross at day 14.

NLBB day14.jpg

I watered them today and put a teaspoon of dolomite lime (powdered) in the mix with the nutes, into 3L (2/3 of a gallon) of water. They drank a litre each today.

It'll either make them or break them ...

I'm still just giving the NLxBB a bit of water at the topsoil because i presoak my seedling pots so there's plenty of water for them down under, so to speak.

Thank you for reading dahlings,
