Thanks man, when I made mine I had never seen a physical LED growlight before or even understood what they where like, i don't think many people have lol, but Yeah I had the need for 240watts. 3 panels.

Size/thinness. specific spectrum, and most importantly efficiency. To be honest, in the future I will make my own again, but I know now that soldering is a big pain in the @$$ so ill get solderless LEDs

and just make a great one or two for a grow tent I may have. IDK, but I got some old fogies wanting me to make them spot blues out of 5 watters so this is gonna be fun. I hope when you get a grow going you will

post and show how your DIY LEDs are doing !

Nice work...How hot does your light get?

thanks torch404 they don't get 2 hot i have xbox360 dual fan on top i can touch the heatsink and they feel warm not hot that's good led last longer
