Sorry for so many updates I'm just really enjoying this process
All conditions the same
Here are a few pics
The royal haze is a little burnt I'm babying her as much as possible and she really is trying to grow but the soil is doing a number on her, feedback from the experts on her condition is appreciated
The widow is looking better every day with slow and steady growth I have a few of her larger branches pulled down and large fan leaves tucked
Then there's the white cheese from dinafem who is still growing like a beast and is all fat and hairy. I have 5 of her larger branches pulled down to attempt to open her up a bit.
Che k out some other grows on any strains you have trouble with some strains go crazy with too much nutes some cant get enough. You are about to be in the BOOM time when they just start shooting up so fast..did you find moving the lights up a bit gave them a stretch?..I use LED so my movement is different ..maybe a CFL guy can chime in.
I can't notice too much of a height difference yet but even being cfl and t5 there is a lot of light in that closet so maybe later. I have noticed a difference pinning the limbs down and opening up the middle sparked new growth.
Are you giving it any Cal/Mag or Epsom salts ... might help the Royal Haze ... I have three AKRs the same age that don't look as good as your plants so I'd say you're doing pretty good ... Height may be spectrum related ...
I'm not skilled w/ supplements either ... the one looks like it could be a sulphur deficiency for which my suggestion would be to begin adding 1 tsp Epsom salts to 1 gal of water w/ next couple waterings .... at three weeks the MG is not as likely to hurt them ... Bear in mind I may be 100% wrong about all this ...
Well let me ask you one more if it is what you are thinking the Epsom salt should help.... if it's not and I use the salt is there a harsh negative or is it a safe play
There in lies the rub ... shouldn't hurt anything but isn't guaranteed to help ... unlike most salt Epsom actually has many benefits to plants providing both magnesium and sulfur ...
