Lighting Dinafem: Moby Dick auto X 5

Four of the five came up this morning and I will wait a bit for the other one. Two had to have their helmets removed but so far so good. The set up remains the same, 2'x4'x7' lighthouse tent with a 6in duct booster extraction fan with carbon filter and two 6in clip-on circulating fans. Hung in the corners are 4 4' t5's with grow (6500k) bulbs and two bs240uv's. I will use just one of the bs240uv's and all four of the t5's for the first three weeks then add the other led after sex and flowers show. Temps are 78f-82f with 48%-52% rh and the room temps are 72f-75f with the extraction fan at 3/4 speed and one clip-on fan going at low speed. The big change will be the addition of cha-ching and microbrew for nutes, the first bottle of microbrew had to go back because it was out of date so it missed the pic. Pro-mix ultimate in 3gal airpots should alow the plants to fill the tent well. These seed have been in my fridge for two years so I am very ready to see them in action.

Thanks Ronin, things seem to have turned around for me on this grow. The 5th seed is up and this is the first time in 4 or 5 grows to start with 100% germ. Almost every time I add a new nute my plants improve so now I think I have most of what I can expect to fit in an autoflower grow and still stay close to the nute schedule.

This is my newest "clever plan" as my hero Baldrick would say.
1. 0-7 day; mist to keep damp about day 5 250ml areated water with 1/2cap superthrive/gal 6.4-6.5ph
2. 8-14 day; mist to keep damp about day 10 750-1000ml 5ml/gal cal/mag grow 6.4-6.5ph
3. 15-21 day; about day 15 1gal 5ml grow big, 10ml big bloom, 10ml kangaroots/gal 6.3-6.4ph
about day 19 1gal 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap superthrive/gal 6.5-6.6ph
4. 22-28 day; about day 22 1gal 5ml grow big, 20ml big bloom, 10ml microbrew/gal 6.3-6.4ph
about day 26 1gal 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap superthrive/gal 6.5-6.6ph
5. 29-35 day; about day 29 1gal 5ml grow big, 30ml big bloom, 10ml kangaroots/gal 6.3-6.4ph*
about day 33 1gal 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap superthrive/gal 6.5-6.6ph
* when vertical growth first slows add beastie bloomz 1/8tsp with nutes
Sometime over the next week or so vertical growth should stop and the switch to bloom nutes should made after a cleaning with 1.5 gal of 10ml sledgehammer at 6.5ph
6. 36-42 day; about day 36 1gal 5ml tiger bloom, 20ml big bloom, 10ml microbrew, 1/8tsp beastie bloomz/gal 6.3-6.4ph
about day 40 1gal 5ml cal/mag bloom and a half cap superthrive 6.5-6.6ph

About day 70 clean with 1.5gal 10ml sledgehammer/gal - water with 5qts every three days for 10-14 days

If anyone has tried a schedule like this or can see where I am screwing up please speak up. Because I use led lighting cal/mag is something I have problems controling. The sensi cal/mag has some N so I cut out flower kiss and open sesame and superthrive takes the place of boomerang.

Day 5 and each plant got 500ml of 1/2 cap superthrive/gal at 6.5ph. I have already used a gallon just misting and adding a 100ml or so at the stems. The last plant to pop (second pic) lost a leaf and is only half the size of the others. I have the clip-on circulating fan on low just shaking the plants a little to beef-up the stems and the led light raised to 24in.

Day 9 and everyone got 1500ml of 5ml/gal cal/mag grow at 6.6ph. The temps are climbing so I have both circulating fans on and the pots are drying faster. The plant with the missing first leaf (center rear) is doing well and most of the others are good except one with a weak stem (left rear). My "cleaver plan" of a feeding schedule was way off on the amount of water but we will see if the nute amounts work. The led is at 24in and is on 18/6 schedule, tent temps; day 80-82f night; 74-76f with 47-50%rh.

Day 14 and everyone has taken their first feeding with cal/mag grow (4-0-0) very well, and today they each got 2500-3000ml of 5ml grow big, 10ml big bloom, 10ml kangaroots at 6.3-6.4ph (about 10-15% run-off). Things are happening quickly so I also added the other bs240uv and moved the other circulating fan lower, the two rear t5s' are off to keep temps between 78-82f daytime. Some are showing sex and flowering isn't far off, I can see why these beans are a regular in Ronins' garden.

Day 18 and everyone got 3000ml of 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive at 6.6ph. Growth has been very good and all are female and about to show flower. A strong smell is starting already and color is fine. The branches are almost ready for support, I am really liking this plant.
