Lighting Dinafem: Moby Dick auto X 5

My grows really got better after I started following Trappers' advice about not under watering. My growing is like an old song, "All the science I don't understand, it's just my job five days a week, rocket man." After three years of learning how to fly now I need to learn why it works. I thank AFN for making this hobby fun.

Day 21 and the girls were still wet but the growth has been so good I had to put some support and gain some control. I should have saved a bean for a 5gal airpot grow. The girls are 1 at 14in (far right), 2 at 12in and 2 at 10in (far left). All the t5's are off now and I can keep the temps at 78-80f without trouble. All the branches look like they will have some nice bud sites and the plant looks like a major producer. The color remains very good and in a day or so I will give the second shot of and hopefully another week of good growth. Both bs240uv's are at 24in.

Day 25 and these girls continue to impress, last Wednesday they got a gallon of 5ml grow big, 20ml big bloom and 10ml microbe brew at 6.5ph and today they got a gallon of 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive at 6.6ph. They are, from left to right, 16in, 18in, 20in, 20in and the queen of the prom is 22in. I have switched the two t5s to bloom bulbs (3500k) but no bloom nutes until about week five or six. Leds are still at 24in.

Looking good man, gonna be watching. Ive got some mobyxthink diff hybrids outside right now. Planted them from seed and havent been to visit in a few weeks... Hope they turn out as nice as yours are!

Day 28 and I don't know what to say. Everyone got a gallon of 5ml grow big, 30ml big bloom and 10ml kangaroots at 6.5ph. The plants are, from left to right 23in, 25in, 26in,26in 29in, 5-6in growth in three days. The branches are a bit weak and need a lot of support but that's ok. The plants have stayed leggy and the light is getting into the interior so bud development seems good also. If this rate of growth continues for another week or so I will have 3ft plants, and that's about all I have room for.

These are the "regular" moby auto not the XXL, at least that's what I bought two years ago. I thought if they were in a 3gal pot I might get plants 30-36in, looks like most will be well over 30in. The plants have a lot of interior buds but even though they are leggy I still can't get enough light to the inteior. I was going to wait until the vertical growth stops and than prun some center fan leaves, what do you think?
