New Grower Dinafem Blue Cheese Auto

While I am in no position to offer any intelligent diagnosis I did find this handy spreadsheet to show how different nutrients affect each others uptake. So, if you're able to narrow down what you have in excess or are deficient in...maybe it can help to adjust...View attachment 989269

well i just did a ph test on a good ammount of runoff water and i see my ph is only sitting at around 5.0 which is stange since i always ph my feed water at 5.8. so it could be a lockout. im going to give my plant a bit of a flush and feed new water with 5.8ph and keep tresting till runoff if within proper rang. im suprised that the ph would be so low if anything i would have expected it to be to high with buildup or something. ill try a flush and some fresh feed water and hopefully that will help.

That is pretty low. That's the exact opposite of what mine did. My runoff got up to 7.98 somehow even with 20% runoff every watering. Dunno.

Is the yellowing limited to the lower leaves?

hi pal my girls sometimes droop before lights out i had lots off issues with low humidity and it also slowed my growth to a standstill i bought a humidifier and it made a huge difference plus i have 2 blue cheese at day 16 also your training is awesome

hey there, thanks for the kind words, i owe my training to @Vapo69 . i have been following his training routine. and yeah i know a lot of plants droop prior to lights off, but mine has been drooping almost constantly the past week or so. a test of runoff showed a ph of 5.0 which is out of the ph range from my medium. so i flushed it the regular ph water and refed with half strength nutes and i now have my runoff sitting at 5.84. so now that the ph has been corrected im hoping that she will perk up. i have to go back on the road for work today, but ill check on it when i get back in a couple days and hopefully she will be doing better. i just hope i didnt stunt its growth too much. its not exactly looking to big right now, but shes only at the 6 week mark and still growing daily, hgopefully now it will be able to grow a bit better. anbd green up and perk up.

sadly i think ive lost a lot of growth potential in this plant, i really gotta start cuting back on how much perlite im using. i noticed while flushing just now that i have lost a lot of soil volume, the top almost 2 inches of my pot is nothing but perlite that has made its way to the surface i guess. so since im only growing in a 2 gallon pot ive lost a good 3 inches total ofsoil volume :(. oh well, we shall see how this plant does to harvest and next grow ill be sure to cut back on the perlite and make sure to let medium settle in pot for a few days to maxamize medium volume and guess ill start testing my runoff more frequently for ph fluctuations. either way ill still get good bud from this plant im sure. and see what hapwens with this current grow. it still has at least 33 days or so to go to its 75 day supposed harvest date. so still a month of growing and budding. ill be much more vigilant with runoff testing and try to get her to produce to max.

i use coco myself so i cant advise you but your still going to do great with her dont stress to much pal . also from when i last spoke i won the dinafem grower of the year with my critical 2 .0 so dinafem strains are one of my favs .also i dont think that run off is 2 bad i dont even test mine with coco

ive never tried coco simply becasue im not home daily to water as coco needs. im growing in a mix of pro mix and perlite (way to much perlite though, lol) so it holds water long enough that when im home every couple days its ready for a watering. i know the runoff ph wasnt terrible but was out of the 5.5 to 6.2 range, so im really hoping thats what was causing thed rooping and yellowing. really hoping it comes back strong. but hey now i know for the next blue cheese grow after this one. hopefully shell recover without much delay and can focus on growing and flowering. the one nice thing about being away for 2 days at a time is that it makes seeing changes in the plant much more noticable.

dont stress she looks ok also i grow in autopots they would suit your schedule mine are 15 ltr pots with a 47 ltr res https://www.autoflower.org/threads/sanlight-q6w-test-grow.68474/ it may be something to look into in the future

yeah ive wanted to try coco, but its hard for me to find locally especially in winter, lol. and since im not home daily to water i have tended to shy away from it for something that holds moisture long enough to work with my home time schedule. i just hope ive done the right thing with bringing the ph back in balance and increasing nutes. hoping ill see improvement when im back saturday morning, if not then im stumped. i dont wanna increase nutes hgher then half strength yet in case thats not the problem. i really have no idea what this strain likes for feed, if it likes lighter or heavier nutrients. so im just sticking with the general rule of half strength fir now and see what happens. if yellowing continues tog et worse, then i guess that will be an indicator of it needing even more feed. the joys of learning what a new strain likes. all i know is it was growing strng and happy on 1/4 strength nutes until about a week or so ago. then boom constant drooping and yellowing starting to creep in. so i made the bump to half strength feed last saturday, but symptoms got worse. runoff ph was reading 5.0-5.1, so i flushed it with ph water until runoff read 5.8 then refed it half strength at 2ML/L, tested runoff and its now at 5.84. so hopefully it will improve. good news is when i get back saturday ill be home for 6 days due to christmas and what not, so ill be able to monitorit a bit better over that time frame.

i want an auto pot setup so bad, was looking into them really hard. but since i live in canada the shipping alone is 80 bucks just for the one auto pot system. having a hard time justifying paying 200 plus dollars for one autopot system, lol. but honeslty i might have to look at just biting the bullet and going for it. its an amazing. how exactly does that system work in regards to feeding water. do you just mix your nute water to your specific ph range and just dump it into reseviore? i dont have a tds meter and have never really been good at understand the whole tds and ppm thing. and i know when your running a resevoir that becomes kind of important since water evaporation changes the nute range in the res. only way i could get around that i think would be if i didnt fully fill the res and changed out the water every couple days when i was home. but if im doing that then i might as well just stick with doingit the way i have been with hand watering the pot. unless im totally off base with my information
