Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

Hello everyone! @pop22 I have seen your KISS mentioned mentioned numerous times in numerous threads but haven't put it all together. Would you mind commenting on my comments below? This would be with HP promix myco (what the local garden store carrys) and MC 1 part v2. I have yucca and recharge as well.

Tap comes out consistently 140 - 145 ppm (might be more in the winter, lots of road salt) I take that up to 640 with the MC?

Start feeding around day 7 unless they ask for it.

Using the HP as the medium, after adding the MC to the water bring the PH down to 5.8

@Mañ'O'Green Using tap water should the 3.5 / .5 ratio for the Epsom ratio be used? My ppm out of the faucet is 140-145. I can get numbers for specifics from the water report if you need them.

Water when needed. I am sure there is a learning curve to that. I have decent watering skills with soil, shouldn't be to hard to pick up. Any advice is of course welcome.

I don't have my RO system installed from the move, probably will around January or February lol. Is this something I should even attempt without that hooked up?

Thanks for taking the time!

The PH for peat is 6.2

I you have not downloaded the spreadsheet you should. Just play around with it even if you do not use it it will give you an idea of what is going into the pot.

Thanks! I appreciate the ph guidance and will download the spreadsheet.

If your ppm out of the faucet is 145 your good, no epsom needed. MC has a good amount of Mg already and your tap water has more also, same with Calcium.

Run your PH in the 6.0 to 62 range you'll be happier with the results in promix that way.

Hi all, i took a break from growing for the last 2 months, started 6 seeds yesterday, ill be using megacrop v2 only, i remember i was mixing to 550-600 ppm, i just want to check im doing the mixing right. My tap water is 230-240ppm, so do i then add 310ppm megacrop to get to the 550ppm or do i add 550ppm to my tap for a final 790ppm?

Cool @Smiffy_420 , typically it’s additive to your base water. Though I don’t know where the threshold of having too high of ppm in your base before it becomes an issue. I guess it also depends on what’s in it. But if you’ve grown with it before then it’s probably not an issue.

What strain did you drop and are you going to journal it anywhere?

Oh yeah ive grown with the tap water for the last 10years but its probably not ideal, only in the last 2 years ive started messuring ppms and ph. I droped 3 fastbuds gorilla cookies and 3 fastbuds forbidden runtz, grown in solo cups with coco under leds. Probably wont journal, ive always said i would be never get round 2 it.

Anyone with tap water ppm over about 160 should at least filter their water. A combo sediment/charcoal filter would clean it up some. With tap water that high you might try for a total ppm of 600. Yes it's additive 600 should be your total.

With the aid of hydrobuddy I calculated the 240 ppm's worth into my nutrient solution. So if I measure 500ppm I know I'm not far away of the true number. But hey, we all know that the numbers are a guideline and that you should look at your plants responce to what you are giving...
