Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

That’s awesome @Mañ'O'Green , great Job!

How would one modify that for the 1-part v2? Or had you already made one for that?

Also, before we were chatting about how adding the extra Mg and S with Epsom salt would balance out the nutrients. I noticed in the first version of Sweet Candy that it includes both Mg and S, and was curious if you used that instead of Epsom Salt if you get to a balance but also gain some benefits from the other vitamins and additions in it. And also how much would be required to hit that balance.
Here’s what it has on the packaging

Thanks!
I do not have "tested" spreadsheets for anything other than what I have presented in the one. It is not perfect yet and I am not sure I can perfect it to what I want to feed to the plants at various stages of life. I cannot get the Nitrogen down where I want it. The results are getting closer to a good TLS soil grow from the appearance of the plants. This is no easy feat in hydro. I will be working with other nutrients to make spreadsheets as time and money allows.

Cool man, no worries.

Those are looking good there

Nice.
Well thanks again for the tip to balance MC with epsom salt. Been using the 3.5g/gal MC and 0.5g/gal ES and they seem to like it

It's pretty crazy how different grow methods and setups can have totally different requirements. I don't know if anyone else in here is actually doing DWC/RDWC but my setup apparently doesn't like the whole "stay between 500-600 ppm" thing. I was up to about 620 ppm and it was steadily dropping. I'm now up to about 770 ppm the ph has started dropping instead of rising and my ppm still appears to be dropping. 450w of led and RDWC setup are making my girls hungry af apparently.

It's odd, I don't know many people using Megacrop in DWC/RDWC. If I had any interest in returning to DWC, I'd use Megacrop. Just a matter of getting it dialed in.

What do you have for a reservoir? how many gallons? It's normal to see the ppms drop. PH rises and lowers according to what your plants are feeding on. They exchange hydrogen ions for nutrients, Hydrogen (H+) or Hydroxide (OH-). H+ acidifies the solution and OH- lowers acidity. If you want or expct steady ph then you'd want to invest in a PH dosing meter. Otherwise, your PH will fluctuate throughout your grow. as long as you keep PH withing a reasonable range, the plants will tolerate PH fluctuation. I've long since forgotten what the range is but I'd say a +/- of 0.2 is acceptable. So if you run at 6.0, a range of 5.8 to 6.2 will work.
With three buckets I'd be running at least a 30 gallon res.

As to your plants, breeder's tend to be optimistic with seed to harvest times. If they are at day 31, I'd say they should flower within the next ten days. If not, you may have to put them on 12/12 light cycle. Now I've had some where I did that and they flowered within 4-5 days, then I switched them back to 20/4 and they continued fine. some, didn't continue to flower and revegged......... So if you switch, I'd leave them on the 12/12 cycle.

Looks to me like your going to have some BIG plants!

I've been running my first dwc and using Mega Crop 2 part. It's been a learning experience for sure, but with help from some outstanding folks on AFN, I'm getting close to chop. The main problem I've had is ph swings. It started fairly steady, then started bottoming out almost daily in late veg, then got manageable during early flower and now is crashing daily again.

I'm growing in a ten gallon tote that took about 6 gallons to fill starting out, now it'll only hold about 2-1/2 gallons. She's starting to look a little frazzled because of it but I think I'll get her across home plate. I'm on day 93 and still have a week or two.
