Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

I have a bluelab ec pen and soil ph pen.
Both work very well.
The soil ph pen was replaced after 6 months under warranty.
These tools have to be kept impeccable clean. And in the right fluids for preservation.

My ph pen is a Dr. Meter I paid $30 on amazon. Works very well and keeps its calibration.
We trust our grows to the accuracy of these tools.
So this is one place you dont wanna cheap out on.
I think the better pens will be more forgiving to maintenance neglect.
Hold a truer calibration longer.
And have a replacement head if needed.
( that is smart engineering).

That being said,
I still recalibrate my tools when I start a new grow.
Seeds are not expensive.:nono:
My time and effort is :hump:
Do the math:wall:

I have never checked my soil ph or runoff ever. I just check and adjust the ph of all the water/feed getting fed to the plants. :joy:

You may find this interesting.
Its a video made for St. Tom last summer.
He was shopping for a soil ph pen.
The results are interesting by the end of the video.

To be more thorough.
I should taken an ec reading of rhe run off as well.
Now that, would be interesting.
Because my plants are always fed in the 6.1 to 6.3 range (ph).
With ec at 500 to 550 using MC.
So as we saw in the video.
Your feed ph vs whats going on in the soil means nothing.
This probably explains @pop22 success feedlng at 6.2 to 6.5
His soil is possibly in the upper 5 range.
(Which is what we want right).

I don't go that far either. I've found my soil ph remains fairly predictable, it's fluctuations in my solution occasionally that causes issues. If I ran coco
( god forbid.. ) I'd check runoff.
