Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

I feel you man. Seems easier outside, still some different things to worry about but If you’ve got nice conditions it goes smoothly.

Seems easier until bugs, 2 weeks of nonstop rain or a 120F week or 2 of sun put a number on your plants, i have only grown peppers and tomatoes outside and i see the challenges outside will bring. i still am jealous of outside people since i can't legally try it yet but i do look forward to it :smoking:

@Mañ'O'Green - would you mind giving us your quick thoughts on these questions? :

1. Is MC (1 part) imbalanced in Mg and - if so - at which concentration does the imbalance correct?

2. Is MC (2 part) imbalanced relative to any element, and - if so - at which concentration does the imbalance correct?

This may clear up some confusion (certainly on my part). There seems to be contradictory information out there.

OK - got it:

If you add .5 gram of Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt) You get a winning balance with the MC v2. You can use this in starting water up to about 200 PPM without calcium issues but it will be high.

Also: "3.5g MC with .5g Epsom Salt is where they are in balance. When you go with more they will be out of balance again."

Clarification: would this apply with ROD (0-10 ppm) starting water?

Also, same thread has your conclusions about 2-part? I have read it through a couple of timers before so I apologize if I missed it.

Edit: it looks like the screen shot of the spreadsheet was 0 ppm starting water but just making sure.

Yes you can believe your eyes! If you read it it states that starting water up to about 200 is ok but the calcium will be high.

Thank you @Mañ'O'Green. Last question I swear: :haha:

Any conclusions about 2 part MC?

I have tried to input values on the earlier spreadsheet but it got FUBAR. I have tried to start over and download the spreadsheet but it says it is no longer available. I assume that would be the correct course of action.

Still working on it :pass:

My cheapo PPM detector says that If I put the recommended of A and B for late veg/early bloom into my 200ppm water, I get over 800 PPM. Ph around 6.5. So half and half gives me 500+ ppm in theory. I have been doing like 65-70% Ph'ed plain water/30=35% "food water" this round.
