Summary:
How's it going everyone. This is my second grow, actually third because I tried YEARS ago under CFL's in my college dorm closet and that didnt turn out all that great. But this my second under LED's. I suffered some hard learned lessons with my first grow last year. Started this second grow with the knowledge I gain but still more lessons to learn. Then I found you fine folks here at AFN and look forward to growing together.

I was a bit into this grow before I starting this journal (about 60 days). Most people would be thinking about checking trichomes, not me. I, like probably many others, have managed to stunt my poor auto. She's trying hard to stay on track but I don't really have anything to compare it to. I'll explain as I catch up this journal.

Grow, learn, Grow

Started out my seeds by soaking them in water for 24hrs. And placed between the sheets of a 2ply piece of TP. I have had problems germinating in the past due to not keeping a warm, consistent temperature. This time I put the wet paper towel into a light proof container, tin foil on top and placed it in my grow tent because it is the most stable place in my house.

After waiting days last time and wasting 3 or 4 beans with no results, this one popped quick (36 hrs). Too quick even. She already had a 2" tap root, broke out of the shell and the top leaves were slightly damaged. Live and learn.

I dropped her in her final place and covered her up a little.

Day #8

The second node is trying to grow out but the color is off. The leaves are super dark and the edges of the first bode leaves are looking like they are suffering. I will try to water a little less to see if I'm just over doing it while she is still young.

Veg on
Light 36" away from top of leaves

Watering:
Every other day
Rain water
1-3 oz plain water daily

Nutrients:
None, plain water

It looks like you might be overwatering a tad. The Down turned leaves and pretty wet lookin soil most times equal overwatering and this is your main reason that she’s small
