Hey growers, whose outdoors in UK this year?.. how are y all getting on?..
I had high hopes of a decent season and harvest August bank holiday, as the carnival ain't on!.. and up til now things have been sweet heatwave etc brought me plants on a treat but now just as the plants buds are giving a noticeable swell we've got shite weather, rain for days no end in sight here all week afaik? Me plants are out guerrilla stylee... so can't check em as often as I'd like but will be over tomorrow and with a heavy heart may have to cut them down as I fear I'll lose them to Rot!.. aaaagh...
(Q.. if I search thru bud and find any can it be transferred by touching other plants?)
So guys, and girls, do I wait the rain out and see what I'm left with hoping the next week could be sunny and bright again!?. OR cut my losses and thank the ganja gods for this harvest and get it dried n cured whilst I can?! Main colas at least!..
Please help a brother out with your thoughts... I'll be dropping in on them tomorrow and need some support!.. haha
Any sign of mould and I guess it's decision made!..
4 plants... 4 main colas... 1 big decision?!?

I lost a whole plant about 4 weeks ago outdoor to mould I wish I would of chopped her early same in the UK when we had lots of rain I think if I was you I would maybe take the tops and leave the middles as least u have something. I'm glad I grow indoors as in the UK its so hit and miss

@St. Tom It is so hit and miss and to lose a plant would break me heart!..
Q. how quickly did/does it spread?..
I wouldn't be so mithered if they hadn't performed so well so far!.. this is a first time growing autos in any capacity, and I'm so impressed - 6 foot plants in 3 months... I'll definitely be getting more outdoor earlier next season!..
I'm thinking I will drop the tops, at least I'll have some reward and they're only a couple of weeks away give or take... the plan is to make rosin once dried... I don't like paying OTT prices for carts!.. cheers for your input... easy now!..

this was her at day 65 and having her in the greenhouse never helped and within say a week from spotting it on one colo it was all over her and she was not far off done but i grow year-round indoors and by taking her tops your at least covering your bases

as Tom sayss play it safe and take the tops off.budrot spreads like buggery, should in theory clean snips with alc/eth etc. but if you only cutting branches/stalks/stems ya get away with it.cutting out individual budsites ya be spreading it.
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

Cheers all!.. Will get out me urban camo and smell proof bags and drop the tops tomorrow... can't see this weather clearing up anytime soon... don't want that not so hard work to go to waste?.. I'll see how the rest of the plantlooks too, they haven't really branched much!.. I got a few juvenile plants growing nearby which are only just showing buds so if the weather picks up they'll be in for a treat and I'll have the same problem end of next month no doubt!.. I'll post what I find as soon as... watch this space cheers all!.. easy now!..

Sorry to hear that your weather sucks. Ditto here, 96% RH and rain all day in central British Columbia on the other side of the pond. My one plant is under cover and with a fan, but I fear she is destined for the compost pile. Last year I lost about 1/3 of the bud to the evil rot, and the weather last year was nicer.

My wife is making noises about a move...
