soil ph meters are only accurite with a moist medium.if you have a wet or dry spot in the pot the ph meter will read funny in them areas.

yep. I think proper measurement is done letting it drain after watering. When it is at whats called 'field capacity' The point at which adhesion and cohesion of water molecules within the soil overcomes gravity.

so what is the strain and what does it taste like?

Have opened only the beezle xyz glue, it tastes of straight flower... my rigged setup, an old 2600 series drip tip, some kanthal, and some stainless mesh.

Water management in a shot glass is going to kick your ass. In our solo cup challenge several people about quit due to having to water so frequently.

make a tiny auto feeder with a water bottle from a hamster cage or somethin : )
