Ok, does anyone know much energy a Mars300's pulls from the wall?

I have a mars 300 in my 4x4 just for cheap veg but looking to add another full spec good light in with for I can flower and veg both in it. I been checking out the viparspectra how are they?

For similiar result to what you are seeing now 1 would replace most claimed 300w fixtures. Ideal situations would be 12x12 or 16x16 coverage per light

So your saying one of the auto cobs performs just as well as mars 300 or vipar 300? Because I was looking in buying the highest watt led I could find with the best reviews from price range of 400-600 bucks (600 is pushing it but prob could make it happen) but I will look in these auto cobs if they will preform just as well for veg and flowering.? One autocob will outperform both the mars and viper spectra. 20% efficient vs 50% efficient on this specific cob. Efficiency is the amount of energy that is converted to useable light. 4 autocobs would be stretching the tent a little but off to a great start. You can slowely add these too since they are singles. They draw .49 amps per cob, completely silent and sold by afn. They are made right here in USA too.

That's a pretty tough comparison. Hps has a very poor efficiency and not the best spectrum for veg to flower like these. Some people say 2/3 the wattage is good but I think it's much lower. I'd say less than half the cob wattage would equal hps.

Yeah so this is over due but hey i want to bring the heat and give the people what they really want to see.

Reminder here 2 AutoCobs 2x2x3

Here we are at about 2 weeks (tomorrow is the true 2 week mark) and these Cob units are fucking kicking ass and taking names. I know that this is slow to start but we all know that veg is a boring part of the grow, however its important that it happens correctly to keep the plant from stretching and properly using the light. These things are doing just that. Ill let the pics do the talking though, these plants are 13 days old and under 18/6 light at a distance of 16-17 in from cob.

Also as you can see there are other plants in the same room, and they are doing out standing, and they are not getting direct light and still exploding.
