Well my green smoking beauties, at long last my boat came in. It's been a year since my last smoke and my Buhhda auto's have ripened nicely.
Buhhda Auto
Ease of growth:
Very, the packet says "sow and grow" I did and so did they! One failed to sprout but you have to expect some failure! As with all auto's watch the fert', I burnt the arse off these but they recovered well and one was doing particularly badly, I repotted it and, contrary to popular belief, it took off, after sulking for a week, and gave me a respectable .5 oz (respectable considering what it had been through).
Harvest time:
I harvested a side branch at 7 weeks (triching up nicely) and quick dried it at a low temp' in the oven, nice! The rest I harvested as and when I ran out of the previous lot. The final plant I harvested at 10 weeks and I would say that if you prefer a stonier smoke 10 weeks would be optimum
Harvest weight:
I would only be guessing because I was desperate but considering that they hadn't had the best start in life I would guess at no more than 2 oz from 4 plants. I would qualify that this is not an accurate representation and a better (less desperate grower) would get a better yield
Drying/curing
What! are you kidding me, I hadn't been high in a year (literally last christmas), my buds were wetter than a cods pocket and as uncured as a syphilitic whore but they were like manna to me
High
Beautiful but again I am not the best person to judge this due to being straighter than an evangelist for a year.
To try and be more useful to you; good clear high, mellowing nicely with occasional peaks, lasted fairly well (4 hrs) before feeling the need for a repeat. Happy high, not introspective and allowed me to still hold my own (ooo-err) in polite company and when I had to interact with grown ups!
Slept like I'd been drugged, restful, no weird dreams.
Would I grow it again:
Most assuredly, would like to treat it better and see what it could really achieve. For a more indica bias it was a good day smoke and didn't leave me feeling monged or give me munchies.
I think it would also make a good base plant for further breeding due mostly to the ease of growth and early flowering.
Conclusion:
For those looking for a heavy stone - no, for those looking for indica effects but still maintain the ability to interact - yes.
As a subject for further breeding or production of own seed - yes.
It has a heavy amount of ruderalis in its genes (35%) which I would imagine would reduce potency but make it a more stable auto.
Hope this has been useful.
Any questions?
