Great job, i am kind of surprised from what i have heard of the Ultimates that the Blackberry produced more. With 3 BBKs and if they stay on track, i should be sitting pretty good with BBK for a while.

Thanks.

I bought 6 of the A/U. Two died within a week. I grew but was only 7" tall and a single main stem, see my first grow. And two I gave to SPZ. I wanted to see if it was me, or perhaps some weaker seeds. It happens. No big deal.

SPZ is growing them now.

You will be kneel deep in BBK :)

I never was able to find your link.......

Such a great job pal you should be proud I'm just getting ready to jump into 2 grow offs on the 1st of Feb so much for a break you get the bug doing this pal
Good luck to you in the contest. I believe it maybe the HARDEST to pick a winner. I am glad I do not have to decide. :)

I am going thru a bit of withdrawal. But there are now other things to do and places to go. I'll be staying in touch.

Once they start off properly I will add both 2 my Sig to follow along pal

How many days on the Blackberry to harvest? I have a feeling the 3 are going to vary days. They have been out pacing the Cash Crops and Polar Express, which are both supposedly 65-70 days.
I see from your journal that you are retired, i have been surprised at the number of us older folks here on AFN. Makes me proud,
Not quite to retirement, maybe 3 years

The days to harvest are WAG, wild ass guess. If all is perfect then the breeders "times" are a close guideline. So use the 65-75 days as an goal but it is a moving one. Some others keep saying each lady will let you know what she wants. Hell, I go in 4-5 times a day into the med tent. I like their vibes. I can see that each lady is unique. Some what more/less of this or that.

I have 2 Rez. for now I plan to continue to grow only one of each strain. I start all on just one. Then if one was not doing well, I can mix up a batch just for her. My NL was a stop and grow plant. She stopped growing three times. She never like what the other three were eating up. They are like the snow flake, each is different. That is good. I do not ever want to see a GMO breed come out of Monsanto. Variety adds strength to the gene pool.

My first grow was in 1979. It was under a downstairs stairwell. I used a hydro system with a couple of bubbles. I tin foiled all of the space I could. The light had two 80 watt 8' "plant" light. If I had been able I would never have stopped. Life is choices, you make them or life will for you.

Yes the baby boomers are well represented here. Growing for me was a act of rebellion and I loved it. As you have said it can get into your blood. So once bitten ....

When asked what does one do when you retire I offer a smart ass answer, "Whatever I want when I want."

great. Just use a 110 mesh silk screen when I cut the dry buds. So when I was done there was this nice small pile of trichomes. Damn it is good uhh...

Good afternoon.
The final weights

Jan 22, 2018
Royal Seeds the Quick One (Harvested 3.13 oz, 89 gr)
Dutch Passion Blackberry Kush (Harvested 4.76 oz, 135 gr)
Dutch Passion Ultimate (Harvested 4.13 oz, 117 gr)
Royal Seeds Northern lights (Harvested 5.04 oz, 143 gr)

RQ NL dried in 4 days. Humidity is/was 27% in the med tent so it dried a bit fast. In the end it went into 4 QT Mason jars and was 5.05 oz/143 gr.
To say I am pleased is just about how I feel.

So for my 2nd grow with 4 plants, none that got taller than 14.5", the grand total is
484 gr / 17.07 oz.
I will give most of it away to family and friends. So this will end this grow. I will start up again in early March. I can hardly wait. A great big thank you to all who have lurked in, stop by, said hello and offered help and suggestions. It has been real.

Wow! great job on your first grow over 1 gram per watt of your lights. :)I wish I could do as much when I start.

I think this video can explain the main factor for yield which is more light but crap who would need more than how much you got. The rotations are more specifically for photos though. Plus I think I read from hans grow journal bigger pots mean bigger plants as well in terms of autopots. Because when autos roots hit the walls of the pot it is a signal to her to start the flowering stage and finish up. Those smartpot xl autpots is what I am eyeing more airation from the fabric pot plus the airdome.

Glad you stopped by. I feel the autopilots are the way to grow for me. Also the Auto flowers are all I will grow. The system is inexpensive and once the air dome and the rez are turned on then it becomes fully automated. This way I can leave for 5-6 days and not have to worry.

My light from ChilLED Tech provides me with all the light I need. How do I use/give away over a pound of weed. That is my only problem. I am happy with the results. Some here grow over one lb per plant and that is fantastic, but it is not for me. I want a variety of strains from my med tent. So on my next grow I will use 6 of the 15L/3.9 gal auto pots each with a different strain. This can be a challenge as they all are different and may require a higher or lower nute mix. I have two separate rez if I need to mix up another nute mix.

You can also look at SPZ and MassMom current grows. We are all newbies on our second or third grow.

Thanks for tripping' in.
