New Grower CFs First Grow 6 NL X BB, 1 Lemon Skunk and 1 Jack Herer Photo with T5s

Thanks for the welcome @elsamurai ! I was thinking of trying some LST but not sure since its my first grow. Im currently just trying to figure out how to tuck some fan leaves away lol
lst would be the way to go with t-5's.and it will help in maximizing yield. keeps a more even canopy. if you need help, let me know and I'll walk you through it

Ok so im in the middle of feeding and i noticed some white fuzzy stuff on the top layer of medium and after everything is moist i noticed some green looking crap. Any ideals as to what it may be? should i skim and replace the top layer? I tried taking pictures of it but my phones camera is too crappy to even see it anyways.

These first 5 have been getting 1/4 Grow nutes and 1/2 B-52 and 24 days from placing seeds in RRs so about 20-21 days from breaking ground.

NL x BB Fem Auto #1 This one seems to be a skinny/tall pheno with lowest side branches halfway to the top. Going to need LST on this one for sure.

NL X BB Fem Auto #2 Im really liking this one with the lowest side already almost even to the top and more bushy. Not sure if i should LST or just keep trying to tuck the fan leaves out of the way.

NL X BB Fem Auto #3 This one here is the widest but also the shortest with less side branch growth but still doing nicely. Im pretty sure this one will benefit the most from the lights i will be adding this weekend

Lemon Skunk Fem Auto Recovered nicely from whatever issue it had last time and branching out like crazy!

Jack Here Fem PHOTO (i said auto last update...my bad) Finally started growing nicely after a few very light feedings of 1/8 nutes.

These next little guys are starting to get 1/4 nutes now since i saw with the ones ahead of them that they take nutes quite nicely.

Should be about Day 13-14 for these and not much to comment on about them sofar so just pictures.

Im really surprised with how well these have been grown since my last update and could use some tips from all of you experienced growers along the way to make this awesome.

As always open to questions and comments. I will also be adding the upgrades im going to be doing this weekend to the first post and will add another after this for those of you already following.

Alrighty so the 4'X8'X90" grow box should be ready by then and here are the planned lighting upgrades.

I will be buying one more of the cheap shop lights i am already using which is this one

And if im lucky i will still be able to get 2 of these from kijiji. If not i will have to buy 2 more of the one above.

Here is the lighting plan for this upgrade and the next one at the end of december.

RED = 2700K BLUE = 6400K LIGHT BLUE = 10000K

I made this light plan awhile ago after reading somewhere that someone used only 10x 6400K and 2x 10000K bulbs only for their whole grow and saw some pretty darn good results. I still felt the need to add some 2700K for some red spectrum.

Hey Plants are looking good!
The few obvious variables I see so far is lighting(first run using led and am very impressed...ive never tried ho flouros so I cant say how they perform, though I have seen some nice grows here for sure). The airpots seem to be quite beneficial in getting the medium to dry out faster increasing feeds. I am up to almost full strength feed(full strength for autos which is 50% recommended for photos) in the veg.
I'd be pulling that main stalk over on the older plants as elsamurai suggested.

Edit- they look a bit pale, unless it just the pics...are they hungry for as heavier nitrogen fix?

Double Edit - Scrape the white/green stuff and add another layer.

I started this grow just as i bought the minimum of what was need and am upgrading as i go on a very small and tight budget so theres bound to be some things lacking here and there. Had to start when i did or not at all as i am moving at the end of February.

T5HOs have put out some decent bud from what ive seen and was the cheapest for me to get started. I do however plan on eventually using the 2 4 footers for a veg/small plant room and keeping the 8 footers for side lighting in my box along with LED or HPS once i can afford either.

Edit - Currently at a meager 216W/20000 Lumens the firsts upgrade will get me to 864W/80000 Lumens and the last will put me at 1296W/120000 Lumens

As for the LST, i am a little worried about doing more harm than good with my inexperienced hands.

They have always been pale like that since the start and i was starting to wonder why...im using 1ml per L of each Sensi Grow A and B.....might have to up that dosage a little bit next feeding.

Your plants look great ... I've been using a technique called super cropping to control the height of my main stem ... basically you pinch the center stem just below the top bud until the stem can be bent to the side w/o breaking ... it will recover and should be bent again when it does (2-3 times) ... this makes the plant grow shorter and bushier .... I start at about 2 weeks ...

Super cropping is a great tool, but I wouldn't recommend it yet. Only cause you are lacking experience with training a plant in general. I would try LST first. It is a much more forgiving for the beginner, and easy. My first super crop turned into my first try at cloning when I snapped the main stalk 90% off. That also was on a photo, if it was an auto I would have basically trashed that plant. I'm my opinion, learning some LST first will help you learn the boundaries of your plant. When you get comfortable bending a plant, then try further advanced training techniques. (Super cropping is not hard BTW, just easy to mess up)
