Hello fellow growers, this is my 2nd journal and 3rd grow. 1st were 2 auto's, last one was a regular, and this one is 4 auto's. Using the same soil the whole way through..bought more of it for the extra 2 growing now.
Growing in an empty room, oscillating fan and mylar paper around the plants, except above. Temps are around 25-27C with lights on, humidity low 40%. Lights out it was dropping to just below 20 quite fast, so I added a mini heater near the lights set to keep it above 21.
Lights: 16, 23 watt cfl's (14 blue, 2 red for veg) (will be close to reverse for flowering) Running 20/4 cycle
Medium: 4, 4 gallon (15L) plastic containers, each container has roughly 20% coco, 20% perlite and the rest is pro-mix organic herb & vegetable mix.
Nutes: GH Flora series (Using only the micro and bloom) Organic unsulphured molasses at times during flowering and Epsom salt if needed.
Seeds: Easy Bud, Money Maker, Northern ??, Bubble Gum (1st 3 were freebies, its why I cant remember the name of the northern..it's from vision seeds but cant find it on their site)
Im at the start of week 4 today, watered twice thoroughly (2L each pot with slight runoff) with a tablespoon of Epsom salt and 15ml micro in 2 gallons of water for last watering. So far the one that had the worst reviews, Money Maker, is the one growing amazingly
Easy Bud is supposed to be small, so for what it is, looks ok. The northern whatever it is, is a pain. Huge thick leaves, no light can penetrate this canopy, so I had to defoliate today. Bubble Gum started real slow and while it looks healthy, just looks pathetic, and its the only one I paid for lol.
That's all for now First grow was auto's white widow and royal ak. Got just over an ounce combined. Made some mistakes with watering and especially feeding! They were yellowing starting at day 25ish and it didn't stop. Last grow was a regular, strain unknown, 45 days veg and 10 weeks flowering using 14 cfl bulbs and got close to 3 ounces. Im expecting max half an ounce off each of these in around 70 days..though I don't think the bubble gum will give me that lol.
