Grow Mediums Cat tries the 1st Northern Lights grow in coco

The new camera has finally arrived, so here's a few pics of the set up and my babies. One of them has a problem, but I'll post about that tomoz. It's a little quiet in here, so I need to stop being shy and invite some people over. @witchyhour & @XxxAuto

My tent's in the hall cupboard

It's only really big enough for two plants, so I'm gonna convert the cupboard

My oldest Northern Light auto is now 88days old, she's only small, but the buds are packed with milky trichomes. I'm patiently waiting on amber

Unfortunately she's a problem underneath. @namvet25 suggested it's fungus rot, so I'm about to take away all that growth as he suggested

Her sister is now 76 days old

The buds have been foxtailing lately, probably from high temps and humidity

But I'm still quite happy with my first grow

The buds have a high leaf ratio, but that's apparently a N/L trait

They lookin nice buddy but u should give'em less N i think. They are dark as hell buddy :D
i never heard that the high humidity and temp cause foxtailing bud. But its really imiginable because i have the same problem and foxtails!

foxtailing can be a genetic trait and some are more prone to it than others.. high heat will encourage foxtailing tho:spels:
:slap: for the beautiful girls cat!:greenthumb: i like the fact that you are being patient on your 1st harvest/grow because that shit is HARD!:face:

They do look dark green, but I dunno how to give less N. They're on bloom and calmag. Yes, I read about heat and humidity causing foxtailing. They've had a Ph issue in the medium, so I'm wondering if that's causing the dark green leaves

Thanks Trip. Patience is the hardest, especially when it smells so good. I managed to get a few little buds last night when I was trimming away the centre of plant.

The trichs are milky on these, so they should be better than the shit I'm currently smoking. Thanks for the rep

for example sometimes some boosts has more N then others and u can check the nutrients NPK ratios on their bottle. where is more N you can cut from that dose on the end. But its still fine its not a fault or something u did wonderful job! Maybe the flush period can be little bit longer thats it.
Own is always better buddy! Those buds looks tasty ;) :slap:
Edit: My chronic was dark like yours and it happened because actually my calmag had more N than my sensi grow :D

That makes sense, the Floranova bloom and calmag both have N. The nute bottles are almost empty and I'll look into other nutes for the future. Waira said the dark green colour is probably because they were fed too much N during veg and I know that's true for sure. I'll give a longer flush as you suggest Cheers for the feedback and rep, I've learned a lot from you guys
