It’s been an eventful couple of weeks in Cat’s grow tent, but I've learned so much. I posted in the Infirmary for Sick Plants section and Waira and Namvet gave great advice about defoliating the underside of plants and the problems with run-off Ph.
I won’t go into it all here, but this is the link

This week, foxtailing has been on my mind. My big plant has started foxtailing like crazy on the main cola and side branches.
Whereas the little plant has very solid buds. I’m actually wondering if these buds are maybe too hard. I thought there should be a squidgy feel to buds .
For weeks, temps were 30F and humidity 60%. As both N/L plants responded differently, I think the big plant might have been too close to the LED lights. Heat/light stress can contribute to foxtailing. I don’t think it’s such a big problem, but apparently they can reduce the potency of buds.
I’ve adjusted the distance between lights and buds by shortening the pendant using chain from the local DIY store.
Marshydro’s recommended light distance from plants is... Germination: 24” – 30” Veg stage: 18 – 24” Flower stage: 12 – 18”
