so set up looks ok what about temps????think air exchange is ok??? im so paranoid, but i have already learned a ton of stuff..dos and donts for the next grow...thanks to all who have been, helping me get my feet wet.

DAY 11 UPDATE PICS!!!!!OK SO HERE ARE MTY DAY 11 PICS,IM STILL REACHING ABOUT 87 88 DEGRESS ABOUT 2 HOURS OUT OF THE DAY BUT NOW AM BLOWING AIR THROUGH COOL TUBE IN HID AND SEEMS TO BE HELPING...PLANTS SEEM TO BE DOING OK,THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE BIGGER, BUT WHAT DO I KNOW..LOL. NOT USING IN-LINE DUCT FANS BUT DESK FANS AS MY INTAKE AND EXHAUST,PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CRITIQUE,MY SET AS IM NOT SURE IF IM DOING THE WHOLE AIR EXCHANGE RIGHT???THE AIR FROM LIGHT IS GOING STRAIGHT OUTSIDE THROUGH FLOOR,DRAWING AIR FROM INSIDE THE ROOM.PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YA THINK,HOW AM I LOOKING?????THANKS TO ALL AND HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVE A GOOD NIGHT

What I mean about roots is... when you transplant from a smaller pot to a bigger one... theres usually a dlay of a few days to a week where the plant doesnt appear to grow much... part of this is from the transplant... environmental change as viewed by the plant... and part of it is, I believe, because they are developing roots first so they can effectively use the new soil and therefore nutrients available to them. I use my 2.5 gallon opaue containers most of the time... and the plant gorwth up top basically stops after tansplant until about the same time I see roots start to pool up on the bottom a bit... usually about 5-7 days...

as far as air exchange... you're right on... exhausting hot air from the bulb and intakeing the fresh air as a replacement... this is called a negative pressure system.

thanks man now i understand...but i never transplanted, i germ my seed then went tap root down straight into the three gallon smartpots..was this wrong????

no... even better.... I usually trans becuz i run unsexed seeds and have to select out the females / males i want... so for space, i start in 32 oz cups..... but the way you're doing it is actually reccomended for growing out great crops of auto-flowering cannabis! :thumbs:

yeah...im starting to find myself post or forum surfing...looking for stuff anything.staying on here later and laterlol..just really strart to enjoy the whole grow, life, water,earth,us,one species,kindess,karma, thing....:smokebuds:

the more love you feel, the more you wanna spread it and share it... its funny, its 10X more powerful than hate for spreading in my opinion... but lets face it, even if it was 1/10th.... I'd rather spread love.... lol
